Very knowledgeable people here... great stock and the prices beat anything we've found on eBay... yum yum!They also stock loads of stuff to make preserves, butter, cheese etc yourself, so not just for the ole home brew!

Ordered some malt extract on 03/04/20 which was due to be delivered on 16/04/20.Didn’t hear anything so on 05/05/20, I decided to send them a message and ask them to track the goods for me. They replied saying that they would send some out in the post (obviously they forgot about my order).A couple of days later I receive a parcel from them but they sent the wrong items. Instead of two cans of malt extract, they sent me three tubs of yeast nutrient.I messaged them right away explaining the issue and asked them politely to send the correct items and their reply was “done”. No apology, no explanation, nothing.After such a rude reply, I messaged straight back and told them not to send the extract out and just refund my money and send me a return label for the incorrect goods they sent me. I didn’t want a company that is that rude to have my money.My message seems to have been sent too late as a couple of days later I received another parcel from them. This time the correct items were inside.It doesn’t stop there.. the malt extract I finally received is almost a year out of date.Of course, I messaged them straight away asking for a full refund and a return label to send both the wrong items and out of date items back to them (just in case they needed evidence) and their reply was “there is no need to send them back. Put them in the bin.” No mention of a refund or an apology.I emailed Fruugo (the website I used to purchase the goods from Goodlife homebrew) and explained the issue and they have arranged a full refund for me and were very apologetic. I’m lucky that I didn’t buy direct from them because I don’t think I would have seen my money again!This company really needs to learn a lesson or two. How can a company so rude and incompetent continue to trade?AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Definitely don't order anything by mail order from this shop - I made an order based on what was showing on their online shop, then got an email to say they haven't stocked the items for some time (bad website management!), I was then promised a refund within 'a couple of days' - After TWO WEEKS and several emails to the company I still didn't receive a refund to the point I had to involve the bank to claim the refund back - It took them TWO MONTHS to get the money refunded!! Extremely bad customer service and management!!

Having recently returned to making cider, I have found Goodlife Homebrew to be a god send. Questions over the telephone have been answered and advice offered. I even emailed off a question one night expecting a reply in the morning and then saw it come back 10 minutes later. The offer of local delivery (as made on the website) turned into collecting some items from Paul, from his home, on a Sunday morning! Its a local business, with a very good website and great people behind it. Good luck for the future and I will let you know how the cider and perry turns out.

A really fantastic shop! Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff with a big range stocked in store.Well worth a visit!

Excellent shop and staff. Dropped into pick up some Norfolk Cordial on Sat. Very reasonably priced and vast stock. Would recommend - not just for beer lovers!

First visit to this shop today, as I'm not local, great find, greeted by a very helpful chap, such a great selection of kits /raw ingredients, and equipment, look forward to ordering my future stuff off you online, and maybe make a trip to one of your demo workshop days!

Great service. Staff are very helpfull.. i purchased a grainfather from them, i got it home and found there where some parts missing. This was on a saterday!! I phoned up and told him what was missing, he said that he would post the parts to me on the monday first class. Which i was very happy with...but to my surprise the doorbell rang sunday morning and there he stood with my missing parts...in my book thats going above and beyond good customer service...dont pay any attention to some of the negative reviews on here.....

Never used the online service so this is about the shop itself. This is a really well stocked shop, prices are very competitive and they are always willing to offer advice. No hard sell, happy to leave you to it, or help if needed.
