Maria was fantastic - she listened to all my ideas and preferences, gave supportive feedback about that worked and what didn't, and I found my dream dress! Would highly recommend

I would not recommend Go Bridal.On my first encounter it seemed professional with a nice selection of dresses, but the service felt pushy. When I collected my dress the owner appeared disinterested, despite the fact that my dress would not do up. My measurements were checked again (with the implication that I had put on weight) and I was reassured that my measurements had not changed, and that the dress would fit with some alterations.Unfortunately, this was not the case. I was left with a dress which did not fit me three weeks before my wedding day.When I contacted the owner of Go Bridal, it was immediately apparent that I was considered to be the one at fault, the dress ‘should’ fit me, my feelings were disregarded and there was no offer of a refund (despite very minimal alterations having been done with the recommended seamstress - letting out the side seam).I never once suggested that I wanted to lose weight for my wedding day, and throughout the experience stressed that I wanted to feel comfortable and the best version of myself.The whole experience was incredibly upsetting, stressful and disempowering. I hope that no other bride has to experience this and would not recommend Go Bridal.

Go bridal, you were the 1st shop I started my bridal journey in and I will never forget it. Maria, you were fantastic with me. Your amazing range of stunning dresses is just excellent. So much to see and try. You were understanding, caring and patient with me. I felt so overwhelmed by it all but your warm nature and wondeful way of keeping me calm kept me going.Thank you for being such a wonderful part of my bridal journey. I had the most wonderful experience with Maria at Go Bridal. I had visited two other bridal boutiques on the same day and Go Bridal had by far the best selection. Maria was so knowledgeable and knew what would suit me, taking on board my preferences. She contacted me in advance of my appointment to ask more about me and my preferences, which the other boutiques did not. It made it a very personal experience and I found my dress which I am thrilled with! Thank you Maria

I have walked past this shop for years and always thought it was a very small wedding dress shop. Do not be deceived, this shop is much bigger than you expect with lots of beautiful dresses available for you to have a look through, the whole boutique has a really lovely feel to it. Even more than this the staff here are AMAZING, both Maria and Ashleigh are so welcoming and friendly, they really will go above and beyond to help you find your dress and make it an enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend enough that you go here if looking for your dream wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses or even a prom dress. As I’ve said a number of times, thank you so much Go Bridal!

Meryl, you're amazing! I didn't think bridal dress shopping would be my thing but Meryl made it such an enjoyable experience. The longer I stayed, the more excited I got - she was so knowledgeable as to what might suit different body types and the benefits of various forms of fabric. I ended up buying the first dress I tried but I certainly had fun trying on all the rest before I went with my final decision. Meryl was patient and enthusiastic throughout it all. Thank you again!

This was my first experience in a bridal shop, trying on wedding dresses. Ashleigh, my consultant, was amazing - myself and my mum and sister were made to feel super welcome and comfortable, which is especially important during these times of Covid-19 restrictions! We had had lots of correspondence leading up to the day, so I knew what to expect in terms of having my temperature taken when we entered the shop/wearing gloves and masks, as well as how my consultation would run. The dresses I tried on were stunning; Ashleigh was incredibly helpful and helped me find a style that was within my budget (just about!), and although I am still undecided on my dress for the Big Day, I wasn't at any point made to feel pressured into committing to a dress. Excellent business and an even more beautiful shop with professional, high-quality staff. Thank you so much!!

The hunt for my wedding dress had not been that successful until I went in to Go Bridal. Meryl understood and appreciated that I didn't have big budget and would be looking at ex-sample options. She embraced this and did not make me feel like just because my budget was small I had to make-do". She also did not squeeze me in to dresses too small for me which has been quite stressful in other shops. Highly recommend!"
