St Ives Post Office

Don't waste your time believing it.The wider opening time may be the shop’s (coop, amazon hub counter) who is sharing its space.In additon, they sometimes close earlier time than they declared. Please take care. This is really troubling to local peoples. We should secure its access of this important public service...

That woman is very unhelpful and rude. She stood there talking to the other member of staff (who was trying to do his job), whilst ignoring me. Half the time I came in for gas and electric, she tells me it's not working, when I come back later when there's other staff working it's working perfectly, she just doesn't want to do her job!!!

Yeah not great to be honest. Went in there to post a couple of items that needed an A4 jiffy bag. turns out only jiffy bag they have is A5 and faced total indifference from the staff about them being out of stock or getting any more. Thinking this might be some covid/brexit supply issue I popped next door to WHSmith but they had dozens of jiffy bags in all sizes. So clearly stock planning and/or giving a s**t are not high up on PO employees yearly goals!

Diabolic shop took the bus in on Saturday toPost Office closed in spite of website stating it was open. Please move this service to WHS opposite customer service awful. After hanging on by phone for ages l was finally cut off

Always unhelpful and rude service. Every single time. I was spoken very rudely by their new staff member. Completely out of order and not even trying to help the customer or sympathise. Most windows are usually closed anyway so only one person serving and when they do, no smile ever, just grumpy face and on this occasion rude as well. I wish there was any manager they're who would finally charge this terrible place.On one occasion I was even overcharged when a staff member told me that my greeting card size envelope didn't fit through standard size slot the longer way! It fit with no problem the shorter way but I was told that it had to fit the other way too! I had to then pay more for larger post! It only happened once but what kind of shady practice this was?!

Not to say the below reviews aren't true (I can't speak to that) but for the sake of balance, I've been several times in the last week or so and have had an unremarkable experience with no problems. When I've been there's always been the same male member of staff who has always been civil and helpful, so perhaps there's been a staff change since the other reviews (or I've just got lucky haha).

The woman who works here is genuinely very unpleasant, miserable and mean. She seems to go out of her way to spread misery. Went to drop off a parcel and rather than help her colleague deal with the big queue she just stood there doing nothing looking angry. I'd highly recommend going to the other post office.

Great for posting parcels and deposting money to bank account, helpful staff. But sometimes a long wait.

Such a rude staff!!! That woman at the post office is the worst I ever met. She is shouting, never greeting a customer and never apologies to upsetting people! I have no idea why is she working in the customer service and how come that she is able to do that?? What kind of management and colleagues she has that noone is reporting her?? She shouldn't work around people!!

Mace is fine, post office is appalling.Very rude staff, unironically wearing a be kind" shirt making rude personal remarks. Also told me signed for was tracked and have lost an expensive parcel due to this. Go to the one by the Spar."
