Autobase Deal

My wife and I took our nearly new, second hand electric Halfords bikes to Autobase today, as both both bicycles were making screeching sound, particularly from the front brakes.Craig was the technician who looked over both bikes. Though he didn't cure the noise from the brakes, he advised us to take both bikes back to Halfords as there was clearly a fault with the manufacture and this should be remedied by Halfords.He didn't charge us for the work he had done on the bikes and refused to take anything for his time, effort and knowledge.My regret is not buying the bikes from Autobase in the first place, but thank you Craig for the help you have provided us.

Will recommend the bike service all day long. Had new cassette fitted and gears tuned. Bike now rides like new and gear change is spot on. Friendly and very knowledgeable gentleman. Great service and price is brilliant. You can’t go wrong here. Will definitely use again and again so 5 Stars and a massive recommendation to anybody needing to get their bicycle serviced/fixed. At no notice Autobase pumped my bicycle tires up immediately and were so lovely about refusing payment. I'll recommend them as highly as possible. Thank you

Very helpful. Gave me a handful of bolts to try to repair where my pannier rack was loose. Also was serving another customer when I arrived was diligently looking after their requirements.

Needed a car battery charger. Man behind the counter came around and went to the shelf and picked it up to show me, and the price. Lovely personal service. Thank you.

Craig is extremely helpful, patient and very knowledgable. Spent the time to explain the issues with my bike and went the extra mile to resolve them as quick as possible. Have used a few times now and will continue to do so!

Ive been using Autobase for a couple of years now and cannot recommend enough. They have helped me with new chains, cassette changes, indexing, broken hangers, servicing - squeaks creaks, you name it.On my most recent visit they have helped me with repairing my damaged campag wheel. Craig has helped me with identifying the right parts to obtain and has gone above and beyond in locating the right non-standard additional parts. He even had UK campag assist with fixing the wheel. Truly 'above and beyond' service that is so rare these days.Craig offers fantastic service, works in a timely way, keeps you posted on progress, and is always happy to explain what he's done.Great service, HIGHLY recommended.
