Excellent food and lovely atmosphere! The sunday roast was beautiful and very well cooked, very generous portions! The white choc cheesecake was also amazing!! Will deffo be returning to try other options. Only thing I'd say is that the service was a little on the slow side.

Our walk got rained off so we headed here. Was busy but they found us a table. The food is excellent. The place looks great especially with the lights. The babies where mesmerized. There was a live singer outside that sounded great.

Popped in for a quick lunch. What a fab find. Very busy, will book ahead next time. Fortunately there was a spare table for us, others sadly weren't so lucky. Service was spot on and the food awesome, with great quality ingredients, good portions & super value for money (see photos). Definitely recommend, do book in advance.Loved it & will be back. Thank you.

The homemade lasagne was delicious! Proper quality meat filling (no grisly bits!), lovely gooey cheese top, really nice side salad (thanks for substituting rocket for normal salad). Met for a business lunch, not local I didn't realise this was close to the HS2 works. Glad we booked a table as it was packed! A mix of locals and contractors I'd say. Only just managed to get a car park space! So, do book in advance. Friendly service and just a little slower due to their business. Nice sparkly lights inside and pretty good music too!

What a gem of a find.Lovely location by the canal and a 5 minute walk from our camp site.Very warm welcome, and I would recommend booking beforehand as we went at 5 pm and it was already starting to get busy.The kids' menu looks pretty standard until it arrives at the table. My daughter had the bolognese. Which came with a good a fair amount but also came with salad and the most delicious garlic bread. This was not your standard kids' meal it was so much better.My son had a pizza and said it was amazing. My husband had the roast chicken, and it was cooked to protection with most soft meat.I went for the lasagne as I had seen it in another review, and I was not disappointed.I have to say we will definitely be returning

We managed to get a table booked as it's clearly a popular place and we were in one of our celebratory moods. Food was nice - lasagna came with proper salad and was tasty. Veggie burger came with proper chips (but was the only vegan choice on the menu). Decent size portions and good dessert!
