Lovely old cinema and definitely a gem worth saving. Staff were brilliant and broughtback nostalgia with the intermission.We were in screen 3 very small an intimate a bit of a shock initially when we first walked in but worth the visit...The only draw back for us was the screening was a little busy and hence very warm, the aIr con unit was just a little interfering.We did have a very annoying customer behind us that had no respect and I don't think he expected the oldness.Very much recommend for an experience would like to try screen 1

Beautiful cinema I love how old fashioned it is and how they’ve managed to keep it so original I hope it stays like this. However I do think that the old fashioned way of the interval in between films is too short the film had started again within 2 minutes, you didn’t have a chance to go and get some snacks or go to the toilet etc. I feel it would have been better if someone came up with an ice cream tray like they did in the past- that would have meant we didn’t miss any of the film and provided a couple more jobs too! The film we went to see was unfortunately terrible (haunting in Venice) so I wouldn’t recommend seeing that but the place itself is lovely, a lovely cinema to see a film in. Visit this place if you are a visitor to the lakes.

A nice blast from the past old fashioned cinema. All of the team were very accommodating. Although the cinema is quite small and at quiet points in your film you may be able to hear the music from a neighbouring screen, I would highly recommend a visit. It’s fantastic to see a cinema like this still in business and being very popular with the tourists and locals. The seats are very comfy and there is a good range of snacks and drinks available- although no alcohol is sold.

Great vintage cinema experience. Came with the family and the whole experience does feel like you are back in 20’s / 30’s. They even had an intermission and the attendant came around selling snacks. Definitely will look to visit again.

Booked online to see a film here. Not been before glad tried it. Cinema was empty and shame the organist didnt play. Enjoyed the film and it's great to find small cinemas that have a bit of sole.

A very lovely independent cinema house with very polite and friendly staff. We watched openhimer film there and it was brilliant. Vintage from the inside and has got a unique soul to it
