The best Toby we have been too.We have a king size plate . They are generous with there meat portion and the vegs are spot on.This is my local and would always go there buy the past few weeks have had to book early as get really packed on a Sunday. I booked on a Saturday the earliest table I could get was 6.45 .

The waitress service was excellent. The only thing not quite right was the Yorkshire puddings were rather smaller than usual, and were very flat, more like pancakes. And the roast potatoes were very big and a bit under cooked. Maybe just an off day as we've never had a problem here before.

Lunch at 12pm so not overly busy. Charming waitress, the food was great, veggies not baked by heating lamps but still hot. Easy access for someone with mobility problems, a lovely meal.

We have had lunch there the last 2 weeks and enjoyed our meal very much, and the staff were polite & friendly.You can’t knock the price.My only criticism would be, the food cools down quite quickly obviously because not served on hot plates. If there was a way this could be remedied then it would be excellent.

Just had the most amazing carvery. We all thoroughly enjoyed all our meals. All the veg and meat had so much taste, and the gravy was also Fantastic. Will definitely be coming again as soon as next week

Carvery was amazing, plenty of meat and loads of delicious vegetables. Gravy was also nice and thick. Couldn't manage a dessert.Staff were also very friendly and accommodating and brought drinks over quickly and no delay with paying the bill.Excellent experience all round and will definitely return.

Came for an early dinner after work and arrived at 4:30pm and it was pretty full at the time so it may be worth booking in advance. Julie our server was very nice and friendly and had good interactions with her. Thankyou Julie. Food was good and filling and the desert was the icing on the cake. Looking forward to going back..

The whole experience was dealt in a friendly, professional manner.Lots of variety of meat and vegetables to choose from.I feel that the plates should be slightly warmer as the food became tepid very fast. I do like my roast hot but never find it like this! Maybe a microwave to flash it over by the gravy table?

It's a carvery so the food is hit and miss depending on the time of day you go in. What makes this place so good is the lovely waitresses. Always polite, nothing is ever too much trouble and they are all fantastic with the kids. Make sure you tip them well, they deserve it.
