AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, otherwise they will rip you off and experience a lot of hassles.I normally do not write review, however i was so disappointed by their sub standard service which propelled me in writting this review. I have given instructions to this Solicitors to re-mortgage my property which is very simple job as it does not involve any searches, just simply signing lender's mortgage documents takes only 2 weeks max, however they dragged it for more than 2.5 months with a lot of hassles as they are inexperience & lack of professional knowledge and also, they have done it by a unprofessional, inexperience Admin person who does not have any clue.Fees Issues- I did not discuss with the fees during my instructions neither do they have given me any quote as i was referred by some mutual friend. At the end, when they sent me a completion statement after 2.5 months hassle, they charged extortionate fees by lying in the disbursements. this fees was more than double than standard high street solicitors/conveyancers. This was a complete rip off.I was forced to make a formal complaint to them. Despite my compliant, they could not make any satisfactory comments and therefore Reported this matter to SRA (Solicitors Regulatory Authority) for further investigation.

Great service, they managed to help me purchase a property with utmost speed and professionalism. They charged reasonably compared to other firms.

HSR Solicitors down the road are better for notary or certified true copy service. This guy here asked me £10 per page of passport front n back certified true copy = £20 and cash only transaction with no card, dodgy, why no card??But HSR solicitors charge £10 per passport/document n give copies too for free. Go to HSR solicitor for certified true copies.

For a first time buyer like myself, J Stifford Solicitors is perfect. They give great advice and have guided me so I know exactly what to do. I highly recommend J Stifford Solicitors. Solicitor Mr J Ali and Mr Shakerul Islam, was extremely kind and cooperative. His expertise in his field has helped me understand ever step of buy a house and how to take the best course of action. They gave me extra support to extension my mortgage time. Overall, the agency are helpful and skilled.

Terrible service. The entire office is run by some trainees who doesn't have any idea what they are doing. The principal solicitor is never available to consult. As a result my property completion took 10 months due the number of errors caused by the trainees.
