Tried to ring them several times now, after 30 mins plus hanging on the phone have had to give up. Ridiculous that I've got equipment to return but am unable to do so because of their inability to answer the phone lines!

Dreadful company. They are being paid for use of equipment but, in my experience, do not answer the phone when you want the equipment collected and do not reply to messages. So, they get more rental money for not providing the service for which they are paid. GCC - get another provider!

Whoever your out of hours call centre is they lie and are disgusting - hanging up on people in distress while claiming to have worked in palliative care for 16 years and having some sort of bedside manner. Hardly! My mother is 84 and had been in her chair for several hours soiling herself, unfortunately when carers came to do their job hoist battery wasn’t working. We weren’t unreasonable all we asked for was to be kept updated on how busy the technician was so we could work with her care agency to ensure she was kept safe and we wouldn’t require some sort of emergency services as she has advanced Parkinson’s and was making herself sick with worry. Were told couldn't tell us anything and that technician was local. Luckily when we did speak to technician he was lovely and more than understanding, despite actually not being local as we had been told and having to drive up from Wales to help replace a battery so my mother could have hoisted and go to bed tonight. Thanks to the technician but you seriously need to sort out your emergency customer services - an emergency is an emergency and they did nothing but upset everyone today.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They told me a straight forward lie over the phone regarding the divery of equipment. Equipment did not arrive on the day scheduled and on the next day was told it was on its way repeatedly from early morning only for it to arrive at 4.45pm. All this resulted in the patient spending 2 extra days in hospital. Since then every time I deal with them is chaos. People have arrived to collect equipment which was taken a week before, faulty equipment delivered, etc, etc.

This company were meant to deliver a pressure cushion and mattress yesterday, between 10 and 5 neither item has arrived and I have not had a call to explain why. I cannot get through on the phone, keep getting cut off like another reviewer has said. Not at all professional. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Deliveries are relatively painless, there seems to be no mechanism to pick stuff up again.I’m lumbered with a phenomenally heavy electric bed that I’m unable to move. My new one is delivered and jammed sideways in the living room.GIS either tells me that they have no record of my collection request. (I gave them 10 days notice, and a reminder 4 days later) or when I speak to someone more senior, I get told the van has a puncture!I have a broken back, numerous other medical problems, and all this is killing me. Calling my MP tomorrow.

I've been trying to contact GIS for 4 days now, phones unanswered, if I get to leave a message (3 to date) no one has returned my call, no response from email either.All I would like is to arrange collection of a bed, my priority should be elsewhere at this time instead it's been taken up chasing this incompetent business.

This company whoever they are si.ply put you on hold with music and the cut you off saying goodbye thanks for calling". Here I am with large equipment cluttering up my house which someone else may need and they are not interested enough to even answer the phone. I would have offered to deliver it is I had spoken to anyone. There was not even the facility to leave a message."
