I needed an emergency appointment and the surgery fitted me in the day after my call. The dentist, Philip Davies, was exceptional. He truly consulted with me and enabled to understand his diagnosis and the treatment options. A first class service.

After having severe toothache all weekend, I contacted Mr Davies out of hours as an unregistered emergency and he was fantastic in assuring me he could see me asap. Monday morning he called me to say he had a cancellation that day and could get me in for sedation and extraction if necessary. I was so grateful! Thinking that I would have to wait weeks to have sedation was so distressing, only a nervous patient would understand that worry which consumes your thoughts 24/7. Mr Davies was fantastic, very reassuring, patient and explained things thoroughly. I have now made an appointment to register with Mr Davies and have him as my regular dentist. I can't thank him enough!

I have been terrified about going to the dentist for over 50 years but I will now, without hesitation, make an appointment with Phil Davies. Gentle, sympathetic, re-assuring and totally understanding of your fear, he will take time to explain everything to you. I can honestly say that I have never, ever experienced any pain, whatsoever, over the half dozen or so appointments that I have had with him. If you are being sedated and are needle-phobic . . . fear not . . . your arm is frozen with a few drops of fluid so that you don’t even feel the injection! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I am SO glad and relieved that I trusted the reviews and went to see Phillip. After 10 years of being afraid to go to a dentist (after a really painful injection and brutal treatment) I lost a filling and had no choice to go. Luckily I chose Smile for Life, based on the reviews, and it has totally overcome my fears. I didn't even feel the injection in my mouth and the drilling and filling was completely pain-free. Phillip Davies is a genuinely nice, caring person, who is calm and friendly and explains everything in a reassuring way and his dental work was brilliant. I highly recommend him and look forward to getting more dental work done and getting my teeth back to their best. THANK YOU!!

Denied service after telling them I was in chronic pain caused by Phil. Dismissed by receptionist and didn't even feel like she wanted to listen. Will not be going to this dentist again and will advise others not to go as I know this isn't the first instance. Feel very discriminated against and uncared for after his mistake.

It is with huge regret I recently had to leave Phil's practice after at least 25/30 years of wonderful and highly professional care. Due to my age and temporary infirmity it is no longer practical to travel from Camborne to an appointment.Phil has looked after me so well and so professionally and I still need no dentures!Thank you Phil I will miss you greatly and wish you all the very best for the futureJohn Buddle

Phil and his team are amazing. I have a massive fear of the dentist after a bad experience. They do everything to ease and help the situation. I live a distance away but refuse to go to anyone else. You are all amazing
