Quiet and quaint lake. We just chilled by the lake. Less crowded that other lakes of the lake district.

Amazing place to just sit and let the world go by. Parking can be a little challenging, especially if the weather is half decent. However, it is worth the hassle to just sit and chill

Such a great place to visit. An absolute must. Absolutely amazing views of the lake and mountains. Picture postcard.. Various pull ins along the lake side road. Lake can be used to swim, paddle boarding, canoeing and diving etc. Carry on along the road you come to a National Trust Car park with toilets, people park there to climb up the mountains. Also there is a NT campsite there too.

Great place to visit. Not much traffic on a good day, canoe or paddle board. Maybe just have a picnic. If you're up to it, walk up a fell.Highly recommend. Wast Water

Absolutely stunning views (Even at night!) we stayed at the YHA hostel just on the lake front and we had an amazing time, we would reccommend anyone in the area come at least drive on the roads that are here, the views are spectacular! (ive included a picture of our car taken with the mountains in the background)

Amazing place gutted we didn't get a clear day but still breathtaking views! Road upto wasdale head is narrow but if you take your time and drive slow there is passing places and some parking bays round the lake.
