Never write reviews, but have felt compelled given the way the staff behaved. Avoid at all costs. Please read below and do yourself a favour, avoid this company.1. Insisted that the price of the vans were all the same regardless of size, which is odd. They quoted me for a transporter, when I said I’d be happy with something smaller they insisted on charging me the same price.2. On returning the vehicle, the car was checked including fuel (which was returned full to full) - the staff stated they were happy, thanked me and asked me to sign the vehicle check sheet. 20 mins later I get a call saying the fuel looks ‘a bit low’ and that they would be charging me a £25 admin fee and £10 for fuel top up. I felt this was really unfair so returned to their office, which was a massive inconvenience. The meter clearly read full and I had a receipt on my Apple Pay to prove refueling payment - they refused to accept this. They insisted I drive to the Texaco garage just over a mile away to fill it up. On principle, despite it wasting my time, I drove it to the garage and took a video showing that I couldn’t add any more fuel to the van with the nozzle clicking, indicating that the tank was full. Returned and showed them this - which they then finally accepted and apologised to me for. They seemed to find the whole thing funny.I left feeling like they do this with lots of customers, some of which probably don’t waste their time entertaining the charade and just accept a refueling fee despite returning the tank full.The whole palava added over an hour to the process of returning the van which I only rented for about 5 hours.It also took 50 mins from my arrival to completing the paper work to receiving the keys. Really incredibly slow despite turning up with all my documents ready to go and a check code already obtained.Absolutely woeful. Would never use them again.

Very well priced van hire, service from Asad was excellent, he really looked after us and made sure the hire went smoothly. Convenient location within Safe Store Brislington. Easy check in/check out as most of the information collected during the booking process. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!

Practical is a franchise business with family run outlets. Syed and family provide a level of service far beyond the hire chains who, like taxis back in the day, are soulless entities who line their clients up for hours on end when needing anything at a depot. Practical is completely different - always available on the phone - easy park and location

Very friendly and helpful... Finding your way to the office was interesting but was told that is being sorted... Lovely brand new vehicle and for a small charge I could park mine securely.... Very impressed ..

Had a pleasant experience hiring a van from here. Was all last minute for me as per but managed to to hire a van in under a couple hours. The guts at the office were really friendly and super helpful. Would definitely recommend and this will be my go to next time I need a van.Thanks again guys

Easy van hire and friendly service. Reasonable rates compared to others. It would benefit from longer opening hours or have a key drop box facility to enable later drop off.

Booked a SWB. Booking cancelled due to unavailability. Then booked a LWB. Again booking cancelled for the same reason. Waste of time and money. Will never try to book from them.

Best price in Bristol, great friendly customer service. I caused some paint damage inside the van while loading, but the fee was very reasonable and will be returning for more vans in the future.(The one star reviewer almost put me off, but clearly they don’t have any respect for others property! If you place cardboard or sheets between bulkhead and items you wouldn’t scratch it up. Treat it with respect!)

Syed was amazing. Rang and offered me to collect the van early and was very understanding with me returning it late. Will definitely be using the company again in the future. Great service.
