Lincoln Holiday Retreat

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect and Debbie the host was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the view and every part of the accommodation has been carefully thought about. The view was spotlessly clean. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed spending time in the private garden and hot tub. We would definitely return and recommend.

I cannot rate this retreat highly enough, we had to rearrange arriving due to personal reasons and this was absolutely no problem at all deb was more than accommodating and nothing was too much trouble the location is absolutely perfect and accommodation was five star cannot fault anything about it didn’t want to come home and absolutely will be going back!!

I haven't actually stayed at the Lincoln Retreat as it is within walking distance of where I live but I was interested in finding some quality accommodation for prospective visitors. The lady owner was extremely helpful and showed me around. The self-catering accommodation is of very high quality with three choices available all with top facilities. The location is surrounded by open fields and reached by a private road with no other property or roads for about a mile in all directions. The only noises you may here are birds and the occasional fly over by the Red Arrows. Each unit has a private garden and there are extensive very well laid out gardens open to all residents. The attention to detail is quite remarkable. It is a lovely retreat. There are pleasant walks, including natural woodlands in all directions. There is a watery nature reserve about 10 minutes walk away and one can walk alongside a pleasant dyke, where swans are often seen, and then into the centre of Lincoln. It is also possible to cycle into the city by the same route. Creating the Lincoln Retreat has been a long labour of love by the owners. Give it very serious consideration indeed.

We stayed here with friends, it is amazing and cannot recommend it enough. The lodge was fantastic, a real home from home. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the beds super comfy. Then there's a private little garden with a hot tub, amazing!Debbie is the most amazing host and the property is just stunning, a real oasis of calm and tranquility. We will definitely be booking again!

We spent the weekend at the Lincoln Holiday Retreat and it was perfect.From the moment we arrived Debbie was welcoming and spent time showing us around and having a nice chat!The accommodation is excellent, quiet and relaxing, the hot tub was 10/10.Highly recommended, we will be back next year!

Lincoln Holiday Retreat is amazing. From the moment we booked, Debbie made us feel like part of the family and so welcome and excited. Usually, we go to chain hotels to celebrate birthdays… not anymore! We will be back here!!! We booked in for the View and it was beautiful (the private hot tub was massive) but Debbie ended up giving us the choice of the cottage too and we decided to go for that one. The cottage has a full view of the fields behind where you can see the sunset and rise and a private garden with a hot tub and fire pit. We felt like we were staying at a home away from home here but with more luxury! The area is secluded and every room choice is private. We enjoyed walks round the fields, meeting the two cats, having a birthday photoshoot, playing table tennis, singing karaoke on our own little machine and meeting Debbie and her son who are so accommodating and will do anything to make your stay special. Simply amazing with truly great people - we already miss it and can’t wait to come back (it also sounds like they have so many exciting things coming in the future… can’t wait).Thank you Debbie and family for making us feel so special in such an amazing location.

Took our dog for his first night away and he absolutely loved it! This place is doggy heaven! Stunning walks for miles, beautiful nature reserve and dog friendly pubs, right on your doorstep!The cottage was spotless, the garden was perfect with amazing views and the added luxury of the hot tub!Debbie the host was an absolute star, couldn’t do enough for us and the most down to earth, genuine lady you will ever meet! We will be back again very soon!

Great place to spend my 60th lovely atmosphere, warm and welcoming, although self catering we were well looked after Debbie is an attentive people person. The hot tub was hot and fun. The local pubs are great and the locality to Lincoln is good for food and cocktails
