It's a cool park in a great spot. For skating, I think the ledges and ramps are just a tiny bit too big. They aren't huge, but it's going to be hard for most people to do difficult tricks on. It can also get a little overrun with kids at times, so you have to watch out.

Great setting, and nice surrounding park. Park design is a bit weird, hard to flow around the upper bit of the park and the ground is quite rough.

Good for riding, not good to let your children run around in. I accidentally landed on someone's kid whilst on my bike so parents, there's a play park right beside it so go in there.

I'm not a skater, but I love this place. There is a shallow, two section pool on the far side towards kelvin bridge. A much larger section has two half pipes, multiple ramps, a few steps, inclined and horizontal rails, and a large flat space. The place supports skateboards, scooters, roller skates, and bicycles. The ambient is generally friendly, and the backdrop of the university tower makes this place unique. Also, there's frequently am ice cream truck parked in front. What else do you want?
