Incredible work is done by the staff and volunteers to train the incredible dogs. They genuinely transform people's lives. I have been lucky enough to be involved in some fundraising for them ad look forward to helping out more in the future.

There for the guide dog fun day and was great. Most things pretty cheap and really good. Went 2 years in a row now, and probably going to be 3 next year. Definitely recommend.

Amazing open day I attended. The dogs are so lovely and a lot of great information was given wish I had more time there and would happily go back. The gift shop is so reasonably priced a wee toy dog for only £4 is great.

Very informative tour with guide dog trainer. Saw our wonderful pup who we puppy walked for a year. Such a great building and set up. Happy to volunteer for this wonderful life changing charity.

Guide Dogs for the Blind - Forfar Training School
This centre runs open days so you can see dogs training to become guides for people with sight loss. You just need to call first to arrange it. There are nearly 600 working guide dogs in Scotland and most of them will have had some of their two year training undertaken here. These dogs help people travel more safely, achieve some of their life goals and benefit from the companionship and loyalty a dog brings to a humans life. They are also incredibly cute and very smart.

My mum always raised money for guide dogs for the blind, one of her main ways was a swear box on the open day of bowling. Good cause.
