Bought a new build flat with them few years ago, just to find out myself only now that they didn't activate the warranty! Now that I'm in trouble.Also they forgot to remove previous owner from the land title!Poor communication too during the whole process

I sold my flat and bought new house recently in London through Cavendish. Had Ben dealing with sale and Naq in charge of purchase. Both of these gentlemen were super reliable and solid. I found Ben particularly engaging and always treated me with a very professional but also friendly attitude. Would definitely use them again.

I never write reviews but on this particular occasion I need to warn people away.The absolute worse service I've ever experienced. Regret using them. Over priced and unprofessional.They were incredibly rude. Never answered the phone or emails. No response from Them at any point. Even when transferring a large deposit. The estate agents and whole chain couldnt get in contact with them at the most crucial moments.Just save your self the stress and money. don't use them, even if advised by Barnard Marcus. They are terrible!

Terrible from beginning to end. Please avoid! They were recommended by my estate agents for purchasing a property. They had a trainee do all my documents. This trainee then left halfway through and stopped responding as soon as I had paid most of the money. I never even received all my documents and to this day I dont know what they have missed. (I had to even chase them for the title deeds which they forgot to send me). After completion of exchange, no reply from anyone. I filed a complaint and even then all i got was ' we are looking into it' by the firms partner a month after I had emailed my complaint. They forgot to sort out the service charge account prior to completion, leading to me owing money that the previous owner had owed. This only resolved when I got the legal ombudsman involved and they have finally given me some of that money back after almost a year after completion. They also filed my registration with HMRC twice by accident - meaning I was getting multiple letters and threats from HMRC to pay double the stamp duty!! Again this was only resolved after i called and emailed multiple times over months with them ignoring most of my contact. Please avoid to avoid a nightmare for yourself!!

Professional personable and proactive.. they just get on with the job!

From the first instruction through to completion Danielle Lane was fantastic. Danielle and the team behind her at Cavendish Legal Group were faultless with the highest professionalism I have come across. Emails and calls were answered and responded punctually which enabled me to get the answers I needed, never leaving me hanging. I will recommend their services and look forward to using them again.

To say I have had problems with this firm would be an huge understatement. I am specifically referring to long standing and exceptionally well evidenced allegations of Fraud & Conspiracy against the Founding Partners, i.e. Paul Cramer (now left, after 20+ years, within days of me exposing and publishing new evidence), Nicholas Pelmont & David Turner. Vast sums of monies lost / diverted, and the lives of all family members ruined, with my own poor health (Complex PTSD caused by these parties, and their Co-Conspirators, and numerous dirty tactics" over several years) being the only reason why justice / damages has yet to be secured. I have little doubt these parties will further abuse the law in an attempt to remove this post."

I have recently sold and purchased through CLG with David Turner and the service was amazing from the word go. David and his team were extremely efficient and helped with any query I had. They kept me updated every step of the way and I couldn't fault their service, any issue that arose they dealt with quickly and professionally and made me felt completely as ease and that I was in capable hands. I would highly recommend!!

AVOID. Was purchasing a property and required by Barnard Marcus to use this firm which turned out to be an awful experience, these people never answer calls, reply emails only when they please and ignore your questions or demands as if they are not hired to respond.Upon multiple complaints Barnard Marcus requested them to escalate the case, thereafter it did start rolling again but no one from the firm ever apologised for the poor service (or the lack thereof). Outright arrogance and unprofessionalism.

Absolutely avoid. Had to lease a commercial property. The sale has gone through in December 2022, it is now almost April 2023 and after weeks of chasing my lease agreement I have had the previous tenants, the tenants before that and god knows who else’s agreement but not mine. Incompetent, unprofessional, not available throughout the process from the start and the nightmare is going on. I genuinely believe the good reviews posted here are written by themselves. I have NOTHING positive to say about these so called solicitors.AVOID!!
