Completely unreliable service, essentially professional lie over the phone and speak in the most condescending manner. Customer service or fact doesn’t matter when demand is high clearly. Avoid avoid.

Been renting with Neptune for over a year and their lack of communication is shocking! Our drains are overflowing with human waste, can't even run a tap for water! Called the emergency number ,nothing but a consistent ringing and no answer. Got though to the agents themselves and the lady said call the emergency number!! Explained that this was a folly and she did nothing...nothing. Goes to show what a nasty bunch Netune are...stay away from this lot

Tried to arrange a viewing with this agency. Repeatedly asserted that I could only do virtual viewings as I am not currently based in London. I was told this was fine and a virtual viewing was possible. On the day and hour of the viewing, I send a reminder that the viewing was meant to be virtual, as I've received no communications. I received a blunt reply with no apology telling me that they don't do virtual viewings. In that case, the employee responsible for taking bookings blatantly lied to me. Utter waste of my time.I've since read all the bad reviews here and noted that I may have dodged a bullet by not renting with this agency. It's not very good business practice to respond to poor reviews by insulting people or saying the person is lying.

I have been using their services for a number of years now. I'm extremely happy with their professional approach. No request is too small, no job too big. Being a Landlord they have made it very easy for me to own property without all the stress and hassle that comes with it. Thanks guys....keep up the great work!!!!

I had rent a flat with them for 2 years in Brick Lane, and although we got some issues with the landlord in the second year, they were really helpful, professional and understanding. So far the best agency I been with in my 3 years as tenant in London.

The staffs are really good ..on time responses….Helped a lot during the agreement time and even after the contract…still attending the phone call and meeting the needs…appreciable efforts taken for giving the full deposit amount back…Thanks for all the help and support to all the staffs in Neptune homes best wishes for your new achievements from the bottom of my heart ❤️

I think it's quite rare to have a good experience with a lettings agency, but I can't fault them. Neptune have been really helpful from day one and we stayed in the property for about 5 years. They don't try and rip you off about your deposit when you leave, seem very reasonable.

Personally the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. Aside from the deeply unprofessional and aggressive way in which the members of staff often spoke to myself and my flatmates, they took months to respond to our phone calls and emails. Many of the radiators in our flat in Hornsey did not work properly or were entirely broken and were not fixed until the end of our tenancy. Many of the windows did not stay open and also were not sealed properly, meaning the property was often cold during winter - another issue which was not ever dealt with despite us asking on numerous occasions. They refused to deal with pest control upon learning that we had mice in the flat (because we lived above a restaurant). In addition to all of this, a water pipe had burst only 2 months into our tenancy which meant that we were without heating, electricity, and had a large amount of damaged personal belongings due to a massive flood throughout the building. The only thing that the agents did after we fought them on was put us up in a hotel for one night as we couldn't stay in the wet property overnight. The flat smelt of damp for over a month and we had severe water damage all over the property for the rest of our tenancy including the build up of mould over the course of the year. They refused to give us back our deposit at the end of the tenancy also. The worst living experience I've ever had down to incompetent landlords/estate agents. Would never recommend to anyone unless you're desperate and even then I'd sooner recommend living on the streets.

Having lived in a property (46a Abbotsford Avenue) for over 3 years with Neptune Homes, I'd be keen to write a positive review about this estate agent; however their tendency to arbitrarily impose fictitious fees (ie. £50 admin fee for moving out and a £100 deposit deduction for a sofa that never existed in the flat) makes me consider them only as complete money-grabbers.Although they renovated our kitchen and bathroom (fairly well but with the odd misaligned corner etc) they tended to employ unorganised staff who spoke little english and didn't have a place to park, relying on me to buy visitor permits.Predictably a rent increase was proposed immediately after these hasty renovations took place.It should also be noted our garden was ruined by a contractor who unearthed a pipe which released some kind of toxic waste over the lawn, killing all the plants. We emailed the agency on a weekly basis for around 8 months before they bothered to rectify the issue.To any prospective tenants of this property I would also like to point out a leak in the roof of the bedroom at the top of the stairs that was poorly fixed twice so may be on its way to a major structural issue.I would neither recommend this estate agent to tenant nor landlord as they provide a highly compromised service that prioritises themselves over both the tenant and the property. AVOID.Edit: If you would like confirmation of the childish, finger-pointing tone and strategies this estate agent use, simply read their (hilarious) response below. Please notice their complete lack of responsibility taken of any of the (if I must emphasise) very real problems that compromised 46a Abbotsford Avenue. For further context I posted this review after they took the £100 for the non-existent sofa and starting yelling at me down the phone. The garden was in great condition before being ruined and photos can be provided for all landlords or tenants who are interested. I could go on about further problems and unpleasant interactions we had but I'm sure for those of you who have read this far you get the picture.Ultimately the main benefit of living with this estate agent was that the rent was cheap, albeit for a small room. As a musician coming out of the pandemic; living here was a necessity for me in order to maintain my career. However this far from excuses the neglect we received during our tenancy. Ultimately, disrepair cannot be justified for a property where the joint contract came to around £1700/month.

Be careful with this agency! Stay away !I have been renting a studio flat for about 3 years, SCAMMERS !!!!Not getting any of my questions answered, taking 3-4 weeks to reply, asking to pay money without showing the bills.Unbelievable weird service , they just going to speak whatever they want to say, will ignore all your emails.Communication is awful, after you sign the contract- they don’t care, will blame you for everything.Horrible estate agency, very disappointing experience.
