Absurd all that money was spent on the lane and boat ramp at Sampford Peverel at the link road bridge only to place no parking signs there pathetic really how many boats use this are all year round? When asked where to park I was told to park at the train station and walk the 1/2 mile to the canal and just pay the car parking fees, what a great way to get people to use the canal?.

Great place to stay overnight with a camper like we did. Also a great place to start your hike and your bike ride. We did a bike ride of 35 kilometres there, and because it's all flat it's easy to bike.

Small triangular car park, next to a picturesque section of the canal, but be careful when exiting right, due to the overgrown hedge. Also known as the 'Beech' car park.
