I was at a wedding so can't comment on rooms but service was great and a lovely location

We held our wedding at Achnagairn Castle and had a fantastic time. Cara and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with and ensured that the arrangements ran smoothly. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and the whole place has fantastic character. We couldn’t recommend Achnagairn more fully, and the professionalism of the team are such an asset. Went to a wedding here and what an amazing venue. The building and gardens are stunning and the staff were great.

Words can’t describe how amazing Achnagairn are. We had a little wedding blip with our previous venue and from the start Gillian and the team at Achnagairn were so accommodating. Nicola was great at looking after every single part of our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Our guest still mention how it was “the best wedding venue” they have been to. Honestly can’t thank the team enough!

Outstanding venue for a wedding, staff were top notch, location was breathtaking. 100% can't wait for the next event there.

What an amazing place !This is not a hotel but an exclusive venue where the entire place is privately rented for an occasion...in this case a friend's wedding.We stayed in the venue for two nights and the first night was a case of self catering where everyone ( 45 people ) had use of the large family kitchen with excellent facilities.The staff had the evening off so it really felt like you had the place to yourself.The rooms are all themed and extremely comfortable, the entire building and grounds are full of character and the organisation was first class.The wedding reception, meal and evening ceilidh were all perfectly planned and executed by the venue.Well worth 5 stars .

Amazing wedding venue ran by absolutely incredible staff!My wife and I got married at Achnagairn in May 2023 and rented the castle for the whole weekend from Friday to Sunday. The whole weekend could not have gone better, we honestly could not say one bad thing about this place and people. Everything was perfect from start to finish and the staff here did an amazing job, so professional, welcoming, helpful, accommodating, friendly, the list goes on....! Achnagairn really does have weddings nailed and we would highly highly recommend every couple to consider Achnagairn as a wedding venue.It was perfect for our wedding size, all our guests were able to stay on the estate between the castle and all the mini manors. With everyone staying so close it made the whole weekend even more special, intimate and relaxed as nobody had to worry about taxis / hotels etc. All the accommodation in the castle and manors was great, super spacious, clean and had all the amenities you need. Lots of our guests commented on how nice the accommodation and rooms were. And the ballroom is truly spectacular!!We can't thank the staff at Achnagairn enough for everything but a special mention to Nicola, our wedding coordinator! Nicola was amazing from our very first viewing, all the lead up and planning and right through the weekend she was unbelievable. Nicola was there from the minute we arrived and was available and on hand for anything for the whole weekend. Nothing was too much to ask of the staff and they had everything organised to a tee which made the whole weekend so easy and stress free for my wife and I, they really did look after everything!Thank you so much Achnagairn for a truly incredible weekend that we will remember forever! :)

Amazing grounds with some spectacular scenery. The best place to have the perfect wedding. Just amazing facilities and rooms are stunning. We also stayed in one of the mini manors called the stag. It was so spacious and the beds were super comfy although the top biggest room was very very warm but the weather was 25°+ it had a pool table and a lovely garden.

Im sorry to post this as our experience of my daughters wedding at this venue Achnagarin Castle was made very unpleasant during our 3 day stay there. The staff were not very helpful and quite rude at times even to our guests. we had issues that could not be rectified with one issue especially with one of the rooms where there was blood on the mattress and the bed was most uncomfortable not suitable for older guests that were staying here. we had to rectify this ourselves and was told by the higher staff to take it up with the BRIDE ! absolutely NOT as it was her wedding weekend and wasn’t going to involve her with any issues. We managed to sort it out by moving them to our daughters room which was next to ours luckily she had the bridel suit that night and this room was vacant untill Monday with no thanks to the castle we sorted without any fuss or involving the bride or groom. The staff I’m sad to say were not very helpful and we’re not even available after around 9pm nobody to help apart from a night shift worker who patrolled the grounds apparently. The breakfast staff made the start of each day pleasant and we’re very helpful and worked very hard to help us with a few other issues. The outside catering staff and entertainment that WE provided were great and made the weekend for us luckily . If you are thinking of booking this venue please think hard before hand Looks can be deceiving.If we were to use a venue in Scotland again it most definitely would not be at the Achnagarin Castle unless they have a serious look into there staffs attitude. 5* only for the scenery and most of castle itself and not for the staff that are employed by the castle. They also tried to keep the deposit that they demanded up front. I would not recommend.Mother and father of the bride

Our wedding at Achnagairn was an absolute dream come true, and it couldn't have been a more perfect weekend to celebrate with all our loved ones. The fact that all our guests were able to stay on-site made it an unforgettable experience for everyone. The venue was so close to town (~15min) but yet felt so far away from everything. The staff's attentiveness and warm hospitality were exceptional, ensuring that every detail was flawlessly executed. Nicola, specifically, was so calm and collected and always made us feel like everything was going perfectly (which it did). The rooms were so amazing, and the bathrooms were SO STUNNING, which is crazy as a highlight - but wait till you see them. Having breakfast each morning in the family dining room was surprisingly my favorite part of the whole weekend. Guests were able to sit and chat with people they may not know, and eat a wonderful breakfast served by the kindest staff.It was such an amazing experience, and we had the most amazing wedding. We will cherish the memories created at Achnagairn forever, and we highly recommend it to couples seeking a truly magical and inclusive wedding experience.
