We have been with Imanje PS since bringing our puppy home. Avril has been the most supportive person and we have appreciated every second of her time. She's not only the most knowledgeable dog trainer but also the most personable and we can have a conversation about the dogs as well as ask her for her professional opinion. Avril has also been so flexible with dates and times which have ment our pup has had the best start to his journey with us.She has made us feel comfortable and confident in our abilities as new dog owners and feel like we can tackle all aspects of being doggy parents.My partner and I highly recommend imanje pet services as a trainer, walker and go to professional.

Fantastic scent and man trailing workshops for your dog. There are clubs you can join after to keep the progression going too - helping your dog to build confidence and learn how to enjoy using their nose. Great focus on keeping it enjoyable for the dog.I think you can see from how happy and Skippy my extremely nervous rommie rescue dog is... Avril's classes are amazing. She's so calm and kind to the dogs and always puts their needs first. I would trust her advice on dog welfare any time!

My dogs, me, my partner and kids love training with Avril. We do mantrailing, scent, and trick classes. She's very patient with us and does her best to make sure everyone is enjoying the class and getting time to practice things that we want to work on.

I have a nervous springer spaniel, working with Avril has given him confidence making him a more sociable and confident dog. Avril has helped with his loose lead walking, scent work and mantrailling which he really enjoys and allows us humans a time to meet and enjoy a nice social occasion. Thanks for all your help Avril.

It's been a long wait and alot of build up when getting our puppy, Harris. I wanted to find the best puppy classes that I could to ensure that myself, partner and Harris had the best start into shaping him to be polite, well mannered and well trained. Avril was amazing - super glad I chose her to help guide the three of us. It was a friend of mine that recommended her to me, and I am so chuffed with what we have learnt over the past 6 weeks. Harris has now graduated, and hoping to do some further training with Avril in the future. Harris is super well behaved and an absolute delight to be around. I think the training along with the socialisation during classes has helped loads with the first 4 months of his life. Thank you so much, we will definitely not be strangers!! Couldn't recommend enough, so knowledgable, trustworthy, great positive training techniques, fun and kind!

I did like going to the scent work club but it became clear my way of obedience training (balanced approach) differed from Avril's, the trainer. She started shouting at me in class, in front of other customers. I wasn't attending obedience training classes, just scentwork so it shouldn't have mattered, especially since my dog was always well behaved and under close control. She's entitled to her opinion and so am I but Avril was close minded and unwilling to have a conversation about it. Why can't people agree to disagree? What she did was very unprofessional.

Have taken the introduction to nosework, joined the scent club and a loose lead walking class with my labrador. I'm loving the positive reinforcement training, and it has had such a positive impact on my dog. Her behaviour on lead has become so much better, and she is also super excited every time we start training. In a world full of confusing Internet advice and Youtube videos, I would recommend this dog training service to anyone.

A wonderful dog trainer. All about the dog living it’s best life and you enjoying life with your dog. My dog has come on leaps and bounds since being with Avril and away from those who would suggest or use aversive methods. My dog was scared after being with trainers who were “balanced” and he is growing in confidence every session. My own confidence has grown immeasurably too. We do Mantrailing with Avril and scent work/club. It’s fun, it’s relaxed and the dog gets a great work out using his nose, more energy expelled than if he ran off lead for an hour. I can’t thank Avril enough for her help and bringing joy back to our lives. I would highly recommend.

Avril has a wealth of evidence-based dog training and scent knowledge. Her classes are fun and informative, and it’s obvious she’s passionate about dogs and furthering human-dog relationships . I’ve done scentwork and mantrailing with Avril and would fully recommend!
