Good haven for teens, help is always on hand.

One of the worst places I have ever lived residents are out of control staff are useless and only care for your own well being of you have a job or they moan at you to get one showers are faulty half the time staff sign you up for things without asking and don't stop knocking your door till you agree some staff are rude and stuck up looking down their nose at you honestly I would not recommend this place

Went to view a room with my brother who's going to be moving in soon staff seem very keen to help and the place seems welcoming and clean x

Nice idea of supported housing for young people if it works but it doesn’t sadly. My son has had things stolen and been the victim of assault in the building no one would do anything because he wouldn’t go to the police himself. There is cctv in the building but not quite sure what it is used for other than find reasons to kick people out again. After less than a year the YMCA are kicking my son out who has autism, significantly poor mental health and dyspraxia support needs but because he is to difficult to work with ( can’t get him to engage regularly)and he has struggled to be independent with money and got into arrears they are kicking him out because they have given up on him. It seems it isn’t designed for all young people with support needs just those that don’t have other complexities and will conform

I used to live in one of the YMCA properties and my only real complaint is the rent you pay for what you get is a bit much.
