The city center with shops and a theater nearby and cherry blossoms around is a lovely place to visit. The combination of shopping, entertainment, and natural beauty makes it an ideal destination for locals and tourists alike. The shops in the area offer a variety of goods, from luxury brands to local artisanal products. The theater provides a range of performances, from plays to musicals, ensuring there's something for everyone. And the cherry blossoms create a stunning backdrop, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city center.Walking around the area, visitors can admire the delicate cherry blossoms in full bloom, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The combination of the city's energy and the tranquility of nature creates a unique experience that should not be missed.Overall, the city center with shops and a theater nearby and cherry blossoms around is a must-visit destination that offers something for everyone.

A variety of stores. Many good food stores. The Bun Box and my personal favourite ShangHai. Always friendly and always good food.

It was nice. Local entrepreneurs renting tons of lockable units. Some shops closed early on a Thursday afternoon. We enjoyed the fruit and veg booths. Food booths looked yummy. There were a lot of imported goods. Didn't see many artisans or local products but I don't think that is the focus here. Go if you are already in the area.

Colorful outdoor building selling mostly fast food. Only a few shops opened on Sunday when we were there. It's adjacent to the Royal Arcade.

Small stalls in a very nice and busy outdoor market.Everything was clean and tidy. Lovely place with great story behind with 900 years of work.

One of the few things that hadn't changed. My first time back in Norwich in 10 years and I'm glad to say that the market is still like I remember it. Lucy's fish and chips was awesome and it was nice to sit there and eat my chips like when I was a teen

A great time and plenty of shops and lots of food choices! Prices were extremely reasonable and it felt very safe, even in the evening hours.Overall, would definitely recommend adding this to the list of places to see when in Norwich. Make sure you come hungry! A++

The market was both interesting and disappointing. On the one hand there were multiple good food places inside, but on the other it's a bit busy and tight in the corridors and the hours for many shops aren't too great.

After visiting so many other large cities around the UK I finally got around to visiting Norwich! My first impressions of Norwich were good. It's a large city with plenty of facilities for those that live there. However, I did feel it is not as ornate or attractive as some cities like Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, or Edinburgh, all that feature fantastic architecture. Norwich also had some major traffic problems in some areas.Norwich Market is one of the main attractions in Norwich City. It is a good sized market, and its colourful stalls add some nice colour to the city centre. I didn't get time to browse every stall, but I noticed that many stalls sold food.If the market does not sell what you are looking for, the city centre is packed with other stores, including the 2nd largest Marks & Spencer store. You need to be prepared to walk a LOT though as shops are scattered everywhere, which can be tiring.
