Mistral is one of our favourite regular spots in Edinburgh. Wine by the glass or bottle, their list is skilfully curated (traditional and natural). As is their small but mighty food offering. Think homemade white bean and garlic dip, tapenade, boquerones and freshly baked bread alongside a rotating selection of cheese and cold cuts from Europe. We come to Mistral on special occasions or for a casual glass of wine. A very special place owned and run by an absolutely charming couple in the heart of wonderful Leith.

We came here for a pre dinner drink and really enjoyed it. The bread and olives were delicious. Lovely cosy atmosphere and great service.

Delicious cheese bread olive oil and ham. Organic Pinot noir from burgundy. Great vibes to catch up with a small group of friends (or a cute date). Will be back again.

Best wine in Edinburgh and my go-to bar. Something for everyone and the ever-changing BTG selection is always spot on. The food menu is thoughtfully put together and of extremely high quality as well.

Wonderful range of wines and a small, but delicious, range of food plates. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our first visit but we will be back to try some more of the wines!

Mistral is one of my favourite wine bars, the atmosphere music and service is brilliant. They'll always prepare great gluten free snacks for me and make sure it's all separate. The meat, cheese and snacks are excellent.

Went to a Shrimpwreck pop up. Delicious food! Nice space, good ambience but noisy - the accustics are poor. Our party of 4 had two bottles of superb wine but were charges £10 corkage on each bottle. Yes, £20 corkage on two bottles of wine we bought from Mistral . Greedy.

So happy to discover this store/bar in leith. Im a huge wine fan (especially natural wine) and they have a big range to choose from. Amazing selection of wine, staff were informed and helped us to find the right wine based on what we liked. Great to bring someone special for a lovely wine and chats! If in doubt get a Petnat.

Really knowledgeable and friendly guy. Wine was great, as was the blue cheese. Also suggested a nice non-alcoholic option after I said I was at my limit: blood orange juice mixed with tonic.
