Nice friendly local news agent reasonably priced for thi ks

The Post Office is a Joke.Opens and Closes whenever it wishes, even if you just want to pick up a parcel, you will be told to come back to a time when they can be bothered to help.Wouldn't give me a parcel even though he had it in his hand because he hadn't opened yet. Told me to come back in an hours time (not possible due to work) asked his closing time and he couldn't tell me.They say support local and independent, but this place really shouldn't be running a post office.I've also been there in the past to post, they overcharged, put the parcel in the wrong sack and it wasn't picked up for days. (I paid for next day, didn't leave post office for another day)

Friendly staff extremely helpful

This is an excellent local newsagents with the added benefit of a sub Post Office. The staff Ben, Chris and Gail are always friendly and helpful and, together with the newspaper deliverers, have kept up a great service throughout the Covid-19 lockdown.

Pleasant local shop and post office. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to help with any queries. Great service, can't fault it.

Ben is the 3rd proprietor of Bourne News in the 33 years I've been using it. In that time it's gone from strength to strength. Now a convenience store, off licence and post office as well as newsagent and lottery outlet.Moving with the times and staying relevant.That's why I support local independents.Use it or lose it!

Great local newsagents with very friendly & helpful staff (Chris & Ben). The recent addition of a post office counter is really beneficial too. I use this four times a week. During lockdown they have had to close early at 3pm but they explained this to customers, so I make sure I am there by 2.30pm to catch last collection. Also during this period they increased there stock of general provisions so I never had to go & queue up at nearby supermarket for a few essentials (even got a disposable BBQ which was welcome in the recent hot wearher!) Therefore cant recommend this little shop enough. Well done guys :-)

Found this little gem of a news agency/post office convenient store last year while I was looking for somewhere selling the MEN and mail newspaper they sell both wonderful as I buy them every day plus Ben started getting the MEN in on Sundays as well, Added bonus having the post office as well so easy and quick to send parcels and put money into my bank, plus the convenience store side of it as well marvellous the service is great very friendly and chatty what more does one need, keep up the good work especially in these trying times.

Great newsagents. The owners and staff are so helpful. Get my sons football cards every week from them.
