Kwik Fit - Derby - Osmaston Road

Stopped by and asked to pay for some air in one of my tires. Guy said to park in a bay and give him an hour and a half. That's ridiculous and insensitive. For what would be 15 seconds and £5. I couldn't believe it. Asked again. He said he's busy. No one else was there even waiting on their cars. One guy was working on one car and 3 work bays empty. He proceeded to casually stroll over to the office and did nothing the time it took me to leave. Went down the road to Speedys and they who are actually busy with many people standing by checked all 4 tires and sorted me out and refused to take any cash from me.

Quick indeed! Went in with a nail in my tyre. Was seen to immediately, car was up and plugged and down in minutes. All tyres were checked over too. Another mention is they didn’t adjust my drivers seat so I could comfortably drive straight away. Drove away smiling.

If your after Customer Service, I’d suggest a different store.Called in to get tyres checked as per process with Lease-plan, and was met with an obnoxious delight behind the desk. Based on how rude he was I walked out. Unfortunately tied to Kwik Fit so have and will use Chequers branch.

I took my car in for MOTI've waited in the Reception until my car was ready, and observed the ReceptionistThe gentleman in the Reception was working on his own, he was very professional, polite and helpful, although he was very very busy by answering phone, walking back and forth from the reception to the workshop to give information, and attending to customers as well, he should get a Medal for his job, I think that he was doing two people job, but yet he was very upbeat and I've noticed that he dealt with all the customers in a polite and respectful manner, never rushed anyone even although it was six people waiting.A very big PRAISE to this Receptionist.My car passed the MOT and I want to recommend this Company to everyone.Thank you for your Service

Made my MOT appointment on line. Arrived on good time and was expected at reception. Staff were helpful and courteous. Returned at the time advised and all was ready for me. Oh, my car passed its MOT which helped!

the young guys in the garage were upbeat, friendly and helpful from the first phone call to driving away. I was given a waiting time and a price that didn't waiver. Really good service. Thank you.

This place is near the road but entrance is confusing and it's easily missed. I had to turn into another road before making U-turn to go back in.Scheduled in for 4pm but not seen until 5pm. There was a queue at the cluttered reception as everyone was waiting approx. 1 hour extra before cars were attended to.Mixed feelings after a visit.I would recommend other places but not a KwikFit in Derby at Osmaston Road.

Short staffed. I am a motobility customer, my car tyre blew out and RAC gave us a spare tyre so we could drive to Kwik Fit. When we got there there was only one customer in front of us and was told 30 minutes to 2 hour wait and we weren't given the option of booking a slot later either. They put the car on the ramp and kept it there for about 15 minutes then took it off as apparently someone who had booked in advance had turned up. I mean the tyre was already off and they had it on the ramp for 15 minutes they could have changed there and then. I did noticed that there were only 2 members of staff on and they were working their best but then management should have planned better staff rota or asked for a member of staff from another branch to come and help. Very disappointed as a quick 10 minutes job turned into hour 30 minutes after a 5 hour wait for RAC. My grind is really with Kwik Fit HQ for poor management and lack of support to their staff which made my day even worsen than it needed to be. The 2 guys there were pleasure even though you can see they were overwhelmed so they need a bonus I think. Only reason giving 2 star and not a 1 star is because of the staff

Booked online for wheels alignment when arrived asked if imported car said yes. Then told we don't do it. I thought it's A tyre. So I wasted my time going. it seems like the young lad at the counter got satisfaction by telling me that telling me that judging by the smirk on his face

Work was good and information given helpful. I am still waiting for a quote for track rod ends though and I had to call to ask if the car was ready.
