For the past few weeks, I’ve been awaiting payment from this agency. I’ve signed a contract saying that I’d be paid weekly, although, this isn’t the case at all.Their system has apparently broken and I am stuck in their system but looking through the reviews, it had happened a while ago too so this makes me believe that this statement is false. I was told that it’d be sorted this week and that I’d be paid, however I am still awaiting my payment.I messaged my employer on Tuesday to confirm that my bank details are correct on their system, yet I never had a response. By the looks of things, it seems like the issue isn’t on my end.I think it is outrageous how this can even happen. If this issue isn’t resolved by the next pay day like it was meant to be THIS WEEK then I’ll be taking this complaint further and it will not just be to the company.I have worked with Reed education and have never had this problem. They paid me perfectly fine and were an amazing agency so I will be going back to them. I’d definitely recommend that you go to them before you even consider registering to work with this agency. Reed gave me no problems at all and even found me a cover role in a school for a whole term which was lovely!I wouldn’t bother with HAYS. Don’t waste your time with them like I did.

I wanted to register to work for Hays in Brighton, as the Bristol branch were great. When I tried to register here I was constantly given the email of someone who would never reply. I never once got the offer to register for this Branch even though I extensive experience.

By far the worst agency out there. I managed to get a role with this agency at first everything was great, communication was brilliant and they were really helpful. Once I was placed is when it went downhill rapidly. I had no courtesy call to see how I was getting on. My hours and pay had changed along with the role I was actually employed for. I couldn't get through to anyone in the office and when I did I was told they were to busy to deal with me. Eventually I managed to get in contact with the person who set the job up and was lied to on multiple occasions pretending to have no knowledge that the role was different than advertised. The next day a new contract was sent to my email, one of which I never signed but it had all of the new roles for me to perform within the role. I never once got the hours I was originally promised. Took nearly 2 months to sort my tax code out despite submitting my p.45 before I had started the role. They are poor with setting you up on pay role. They take money off of your hourly rate to put in a holiday pot when God forbid you should want some time off, it is payed but its far less than what your working wage is so you're penalised for having holiday. Once my role was over I was never contacted again, I wasn't even officially told the role had finished. There's so much wrong with this company my advice is to avoid unless you are very, very desperate.

New contract was agreed and arranged but when the details were finalised the rate was £75 less. I was put through to the director to sort this out because the recruitment consultant kept telling me that this lower rate was better for meTook three weeks to get a reply to an email about expenses at work, this was after I reminded themSetting up my payment details the recruitment consultant said she would get back to me about my national insurance details which were to be given to HR. The recruitment consultant told me that I would not be paid until this has been completed and she would call me back when it was done. She didn’t call me back and that was two months ago

Thought things would work well. I am using Hays for my work at a company they've placed me in. They have failed to pay me now, I have called 3 times and emailed as well - not one reply. My pay is late, and they simply do not care. It appears they are used to having a timesheet system which 'conveniently' doesn't work properly.I am now having to complain to Hays Recruitment for non-payment - I wish I had used a much more professional agency who pays on time - and if they make a mistake, they rectify it straight away. That isn't Hays in my experience. Thanks Hays for allowing me to go into an un-arranged overdraft - might as well have worked voluntarily! On the positive, Hays is still there and brings jobs to people - but pays late as they have a poor timesheet system called BeeLine. Please resolve this Hays - it's possible they're too big to resolve such things though.Thank you for reading and good luck whatever the weather Sir or/ and Madam.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Hays.Daisy was in charge of my application for my new role. She was always on point, quick and frequent with updates and gave me every confidence to use their services if I am ever to be out of work again.Delightful, understanding, reassuring and very professional. That's four words to describe my experience with Hays.

Sad to say that I have met dogs with more intelligence than the people who run this agency. Despite knowing people that have complained many times about the service of this company, I enrolled with them for an opportunity that was well paid. Whilst there were no issues initially, the payroll soon became a joke. Late payments of up to two months! How does that happen? Joke of an agency, joke of a payroll... if you are ever thinking of joining this agency, just prepare to deal with a bunch of utter clowns.

As a teacher I would stay clear of this shocking company, my experience has soured my teaching and now I am looking at a different career . Teachers please find alternative agencies. We are worth more
