I’ve seen a few reviews that are critical of the people working here - I’ve always found them friendly and helpful. The site is well organised and even when it’s busy it never takes long to get sorted.

This is not aimed at the tip itself as the guys and gals and others? Are fair. But this is aimed at the council. You have a phone number to contact regarding waste, however it takes you in a never ending loop until I gave up. 3 times i tried, using different techniques and 1 hour 15 mins of my time, to get to exactly the same point as i started. Why bother having a contact number if we can't speak to someone????? Shocking

I visited the Whetstone tip today and was taken by surprise by the warm welcome I received there, a young man at the booth was friendly and helpful. I also saw another young man whilst I was putting my rubbish in the skip, he spoke to me and was friendly. This has never happened before, so whatever has changed is a marked improvement from previous times, keep it up it's so much better.

Just found out from our new council about this waste site as we are moving house, so much rubbish... Good place to dump waste and a lot of bay for different materials. Surprised so many staff working there... but... well, I never expect any service from a waste site though...

Had a 9:00am booking & the staff did not even leave their office & attempt to open the tip ready for business until 9:00am. Surely being ready for a 9:00 booking is correct? If not the. Why not make the earliest bookings at 9:15. This is public money & the staff are being paid to not actually start accepting customers until 9:10. Not good enough.

Last week I took some things to the tip and the staff were very helpful, very pleasant to talk to .Our Bin men at LE19 are helpful I do ask them if they can take items for me .Thank you so much for your kindness x
