Union Terrace Car Park
This car park is just a short walk to the Minster and theatre, so ideally located for that side of York. However, £16 to park all day is robbery and in addition the toilets are disgusting - 40p for a pee!! York is internationally recognised which is attested by all the foreign visitors but the public toilets in York are a disgrace. The Romans had better toilets. The toilets will certainly leave a lasting impression!! So come on York city council get your act together and build some toilets worthy of this beautiful city.

Great location by York city walls and York St John university but I queued 20 mins in traffic just to get there. Take your credit card if you are staying more than an hour, it is very expensive. It cost me £9.30 for half a day. Read the prices carefully they are not what they seem. Park & ride is not a convenient or timely option for everyone. I guess there is no parking in York that is not very expensive

The coach parking was okay, but the toilets are poor and they cost 40p to pee.

Good car park...Only for shoppingBishopthorpe road...Could be expensive. For leaving for the day to walk into York.. very narrow parking...Touching cars when getting out of your door.. its safe to park though..

Well located for central York, however pricing is now more than London, and 'all day parking' now means until 6pm Vs actual rest of the day. The app has no way to continue to park after 6pm other than to re-park and pay the extra. Toilets available however they charge 40p. Will be choosing a different place to park in York next time

I chose this car park because when I came on a coach trip to York the driver would use this car park.its only 5 minutes or so away from York minster.its quiet central and has toilets in site to.its quite expensive for over 5 hours it cost over £14 but the other car parks in York were equally expensive

Mega expensive parking, go to another city and spend your money as York is slowly fading away and the parking is killing it.

Union Terrace Car Park
Good size spaces and right next to St John’s University. A short walk into the city and takes you to the Minster end of town. Bit pricey for being slightly out of town but a car park we used all week when stopping in York
