Kingsurf

I have had the best time during my 5 day beginner surfing lessons over the past 5 weeks. Toby and Pete made it feel more like surfing with mates than anything else, its been so much fun, I had no experience at all and now I feel confident surfing the white water, and I’ll be back in the new year to learn how to turn into those giant green waves that Pete and Toby make look magnificent. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. One of the best things I think I’ve done in a very long time.

Fantastic 2 days surfing with Kingsurf. My son and I enjoyed the surf, the sun, the tuition, and the banter - all in amazing surroundings! See you next year!

Kids (9 & 10) had two lessons, thoroughly enjoyed them, even though weather conditions weren't ideal. Great organisation and team, definitely recommend.

Brilliantly awesome! What a fab surf school, you really feel you're in safe hands and well looked after - there's a great instructor to learners ratio and everyone is looking out for each other, especially the children. The sea was nuts for our session but we felt really safe and it just added to the excitement.Pete is just brilliantly sunny, even on a cloudy day, and his mega positive energy and great humour really inspired and lifted - if only you could bottle that and send more our way! Beth was our instructor and was super chilled and really helped us build some decent technique to get closer to standing!!Have had a couple of surf sessions in Cornwall with other surf schools and just didn't have much fun but our morning with Kingsurf was a blast; shame we didn't have time for more sessions - next time!!

Amazing experience at Kingsurf! Pete was awesome and made us feel extremely welcome! Especially as it was all our first time surfing. Weather was good for surfing and the winter wetsuits provided kept up all warm! Instructors very helpful and kept giving us tips on how to improve! Were now hooked and are definitely going to keep surfing when we have the chance! Thanks

Had another great experience. This is something we do every year for our mate birthday. Pete and all the guys there are so enthusiastic. Recommend them for great tuition and fun. Look forward to seeing you all next year.

A morning with KingSurf is one of our favourite things… Our kids first started having an occasional lesson 5-6 years ago which quickly turned into a regular holiday thing for the whole family.What is special about KingSurf is that you have a group of highly talented, extremely good mates who are doing something they love each year – imparting the joy of surfing to everyone. The chemistry between the team is amazing, and they have this special ability to make you feel fully included and are just having fun in the sea with them (although you are being taught safely and expertly). Their generosity, enthusiasm and humour is infectious. They obviously LOVE their job, never have a bad day and it doesn’t matter your age/ability, they will make you feel like you have conquered the world!So, thank you Pete, Alice, Scuba, Amy, Big/Little Tom & others for your patience and skill. You have given us the bug and in the words of the kids: You Are All Awesome Super-cool Surf Dudes!

We went for a family surf session - two adults and two kids aged 9 and 11. The guys at Kingsurf were so nice and had so much enthusiasm. I've done a couple of surf lessons and that one had the best energy I've seen. Even though the waves we're not that great all the instructors kept us going and pushing us to do more with loads of fun and good vibes. Kids really got the bug from this so can't thank them enough.
