Best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted in my entire life! Serves good coffee too. Located on a farm and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Check out the store for fresh fruits and vegetables.

I have been to White Row on several occasions, this time it was for fish and chip supper on a Saturday night with friends. On arrival the waitress was a bit stroppy not sure why but insisted we waited for a table to be cleared and cleaned in a pokey corner, we indicated to empty tables just inside the main door but she was having none of it and said to wait. I ordered cod goujons and chips and was surprised when the meal came out to find four of these huge goujons with batter overload! The fish inside was quite small but the batter made them look huge. I thought the goujons would be breaded so was disappointed with my choice. Unfortunately I just had to strip the batter off and just eat the fish. It's a shame the menu doesn't describe this option better. Other in the group had cod and chips and pie and chips. The pie was OK apparently but not great, the cod got thumbs up. If it hadn't have been a rainy chilly evening we would have sat outside this is a much better experience as the smell inside is quite overwhelming especially when they insist on seating people in a small crowded space. We will probably go back at some point as there isnt loads of choice in the area but will be more careful what we choose and definitely take away or sit outside

Very good. The service was good and the food lovely. We had grilled fish and chips. The garlic aioli was particularly nice. We ate in rather than using the takeaway. It was very busy and the waitress warned us that there would be a half-hour wait, but we were happy to wait.

Such a busy restaurant out in the beautiful North Somerset countryside. Ordered the lunch special of prime cod fillet, chips and mushy peas. As an expat Brit who has lived in Los Angeles since 1985 I really miss my fish and chips, this plate certainly delivered. The batter is light and crispy, the fish flakey, tender and juicy. So many chips I could not finish them but they went into a take-away box for a chip butty later. Highly recommend. I also had a side of curry sauce but I would not recommend it, not a true chippy curry sauce, had tomato sauce in it and it didn't seem right.

Thought we would try here as was recommended to us. I had the spicy bean burger and chips, Partner had cod and chips. I must say that is probably the best spicy bean burger I have ever had. Partner really enjoyed the cod. Only downer was that our 2 cold drinks we ordered took maybe half hour to come. Apart from that, Would definitely recommend eating here.

Great fish and chips. Batter was light and thin with a nice crispy texture. Chips were fried with beef dripping and tasted amazing. The location is family friendly and staff are very friendly.

Special cod with new potatoes and grilled tomatoes is the worst dish I have ever eaten. Half potatoes cold they just microwaved. Grilled tomatoes have never seen a grill and this cod filet was probably made in the morning at best. Avoid this if you can.

Arrived at 16.50 on Saturday 14th October, waited in seating area to be seated noone acknowledged until 17.05 when we were asked to be seated,people come in after us and was asked what they wanted and served we were eventually asked what we wanted approximately 17.12 we then had to wait until 17.40 for our food,on arrival chips were over cooked and crunchy the fish was very fatty no lemon to go with the fish.The manners from the staff were rude, no apologies for having to wait or food being late or being ignored whilst waiting to be seated we travelled over1/2 hour to comeAlways in the past we have enjoyed coming here,but on this occasion we have been let down

Ordered 4 meals for takeaway, 2 adult 2 kids. Food nice, staff helpful. Got home to find one adult meal had half amount of chips than the kids meal, not very value for money, little disappointing.
