A lovely little garden centre with your essential staples for gardening and a lovely homeware selection. There is also a cafe which we popped into to grab a drink and some food unfortunately the experience wasn't great. There was quite a few tables with other people's dirty plates and cups on that hadn't been cleared and tables not wiped down there was people in there but it wasn't too busy so this should have been done people were clearing tables themselves and moving it on to another tables so they could sit down. Nobody then seemed to come over and offer to wipe the table or say sorry that there were still things on the table let me take those for you. When we ordered food at the counter they were not particularly polite you have to collect your own cutlery which is fine but that needs to be made sure that it's actually got cutlery in that tray when we went to collect it had four knives left in the tray and no forks we were provided with these once asking at the counter and telling them they're tray was empty to which the response was ok we had no idea unfortunately what this also revealed is the hygiene was really quite poor. As at the bottom of the cutlery trays there were bits of food and all sorts of things. I had a brie panini sort of thing which had a lovely amount of cheese in it but wasn't anything special the chips were nice the salad that came with it was wilted underneath the initial first four leaves that looked nice. I think it's a great shame things were like this it could be a really amazing little local garden centre and cafe.

The garden centre itself is well worth a visit with plenty of plant varieties and also a good selection of garden based items indoors. The tea room however was a huge let down. Wasn't too busy but three staff members were just looking at each other and not much going on. Stood for 5minutes in a queue of 4 people without moving so left and went to a different garden centre for lunch. Nice plant options but won't be rushing back unfortunately.

I have not been to this Garden Centre for about two years. I used to meet my parents there , because it was half way between our houses. Its still very good. Not as big as some I've been to but well stocked. We went for the restaurant really. It's quite busy but the food was very good. Plenty of choice on the menu. Jacket potatoes , sandwiches , paninis and main meals. The meals were freshly cooked so we waited a few minutes but it was well worth it. The double cooked chips were fabulous. Its quite noisy and be careful where you sit as there is a mini play area at the back behind some glass for children. They tend to run at the glass and bang on it. Otherwise it's worth a visit even I'd a little off the beaten track.

These garden centres make a fantastic stop for coffee and cake. They're also probably really good if you have a garden and a need for plants but otherwise there's no reason to visit. They look soooo boring and in need of some sort of serious makeover or reinvention. It's nice enough but nothing to get excited about.

Expected much better having been to their premises in Brigg. Much smaller range. Sale Prices seemed ok. Cafe way too hectic and noisy for me. Not at all happy that they had work to their fire exit doors being completed during my visit / opening hours. Blocking off fire exits whilst premises occupied and with no alternative routing signposted is a potential disaster and a real no no for me.

Big store with all of the usual - statues, decorations, food, confectionary, gifts etc. Lovely restaurant with good portions and great food + warm and relaxing environment. Nice staff also.

The local staff are really helpful and nice but I won't buy another large item from them. I spent over £900 last summer on a garden set and the cord in the parasol has already snapped. I wrote to the store who emailed the head office for me. They just said the one year warranty was over and that replacing the cord was a normal and expected part of maintaining a parasol. Suggested I buy a new one on Amazon and Google how to install it. No links or helpful advice on how to go about this. Bit rubbish really.
