Booked an appointment for IKEA furniture faulty inspection. I did mention that I amdue to move properties soon and needed them to come Asap. They then cancelled the appointment within 2 hours notice, despite chasing for weeks and I had no choice but to return the sofa back to Ikea myself. 2 months on they then called to book this appointment. Reading the reviews I am glad I returned in store as I can imagine they would have found a way to say items are not faulty.

On my recent visit from an engineer of the name of 'Shane' I was absolutely flabagasted when the report to Very about my bed was that it was misused. Whilst the technician was here he literally took a photo of the 90 degree angle separation of the 2 divans..the headboard is so heavy it has twisted the divan frame..explained it wasn't really fixable and that he could see no misuse. He said it would be upto very to decide the next action....well as his report said it was misused it was a £45 charge added to my account and a faulty bed ...unbelievable. Had the same fault with the same bed last year and their technician 'George' had said it was a manufacturing fault...same company , same bed , different technician , different diagnosis .....

I don’t understand how this company is in business. Six months ago they were appointed by my insurer to manage the repercussions of a flood. After six months of unreturned calls, unreturned emails and broken promises very little has happened and the insurers have finally replaced them. If you have any choice at all don’t use EcoMaster. If they get appointed for you argue the point and try to get someone else in their place.

Definitely do not trust what the service personnel say. Was told that the issue with our sofa was definitely not caused by us and would be replaced. Contacted IKEA today to be told it's not a manufacturing issue and they won't do anything about it unless I get an independent statement, that I would have to pay for, saying it is something not caused by us. We have had the sofa for less than a year but the whole bottom base is coming apart, that's definitely not due to normal wear and tear and clearly isn't up to standard. Keep away if you can

Ecomaster are the worst company I've ever dealt with, they tell lies, make things up and are unprofessionalI purchased two sofas from IKEA approx 4 years ago. The sofas have started to peel away and they are in poor quality. I contacted IKEA in late June to raise a claim under their sofa guarantee policy.They arranged a technican to visit my home from a company called Ecomaster (the biggest crooks in the world). A technician called Luke visited my home and took some photos of the damage to the sofas. He asked did I clean my sofa with any specialist products and I said no. When he was leaving he said he had never seen a sofa in such a bad state after a relatively short period of time and said he would submit a report to IKEA and that they would be in touch.Almost four weeks later and I had received no contact from IKEA so I called their customer services line earlier this afternoon. I spoke to an agent who read me the report from the technician and was told that they had stated the damage to the sofa was not as a result of a manufacturing defect but was caused by (and I nearly fell off my chair when hearing this) - (1) the natural daylight coming into the room had damaged the sofa, (2) the sofa had been cleaned incorrectly and (3) sitting incorrectly. I was flabbergasted and challenged that how can natural daylight via a window (with blinds) cause the damage to the sofa (see attached pictures). I stated I lived in the Midlands, UK and not in Australia or Dubai in a glass house. Ecomaster are a sham of a company and if you ever to pay to use their services I would recommend steering clear.As a result of this experience I will never be shopping at IKEA and Ecomaster are a sham of a company who lie, cheat and screw over customers. The Technicians they employ are incompetent, blatant liars, unprofessional and immoral.

These guys are employed and jn cahoots with ikea. Both are shocking examples of customer service, care. Please be aware, however, you have statutory rights 12 month warranty. And you have S75 Credit Act. You can stop, reverse charge using credit card chargeback. These guys are so bent, its unreal. Even the name is do bizarre. Will report to Trading Standards,who ll prob do nothing.

I purchased 2 sofas from Ambrose Wilson. Delivered 26th Jan. On 13th February I reported faults on both sofas. They sent Ecomaster to check sofas. He came in and sat on each seat for a few seconds and said nothing wrong with them. I contacted Ambrose Wilson and requested another visit. Waited 6 weeks for appointment. This time I got a nice guy who really went to town on sofas. He confirmed all 5 seats were fault y. Ambrose Wilson emailed me to say they received the report from Ecomaster saying no faults found. I had the engineer's number and I rang him. He assured me that the report he submitted did not say no fault found. That he reported both sofas were faulty and said Ecomasters system wasn't working properly and it wasn't separating the reports from each job so they must have sent the wrong report. Because of Ecomaster messing up. Ambrose Wilson is refusing to to repair or remove the sofas. They want me to pay £1700 for sofas not fit for purpose. Obviously Ecomaster works in favour of the catalogue. Shame on you.

Sadly I cant give 0 stars. Like most others this company is fabricating the truth with IKEA therefore refusing to refund my money.Purchased a BESTA display cabinet from local store and assembled it. On assembly, I noticed the quality of the frames and panel and backboard flimsy and poorly made. The 2nd drawer from the floor and 2nd door from the top collide with each other. The doors and drawers do not align. After many phone calls and visit to IKEA local store Ecomaster was booked and was assured they will fix the issue or fill a report that the product is faulty.The chap visited for a short time and couldnt fix the cabinet because fixing one thing threw something else out of alignment. In the end, he just sighed and said he'll send a report back to IKEA - this suggested to me that the product is not fit for purpose.After many calls and emails IKEA advised me something completely different. Ecomaster did not fix the issues with the cabinet and sent a report back to IKEA to indicate its not faulty.After reading many other complaints about this company, Im wondering why IKEA and this company are in partnership. I will not be buying any furniture from IKEA and will never trust Ecomaster.
