Used this firm for my recent house purchase. Would definitely recommend to friends/family. Very helpful throughout and prompt reply to emails etc. Didn’t feel like I had to chase them at all as we felt up to date the whole transaction. Will use again in the future.

Very rude, unprofessional solicitors. Hidden fees, poor attitude and they generally do not care. Once they receive your money, that’s it! Samantha Woods is in no worry to delay you, it’s almost like she enjoys doing it on purpose. We had to chase the council on their behalf. This is something they get paid a lot for.Our seller’s solicitors did not want to communicate with them as they're a waste of time.They never answer the phones. Impossible to get hold of anyone that works there. I would definitely NOT recommend this local company.Use any other firm - I guarantee they are 100% better!

I don't understand the negative reviews this company has! They came recommended through numerous friends and I have used them twice, soon to be three times; no problems ever experienced. I pay my solicitor to do a job for me and trust them to get it done without bothering me too much. 5 stars!

DO NOT USE!!We ended up pulling out of our sale and losing lots of money because they are completely useless. There is no option for 0 stars.Samantha Woods was in charge of our case and she was rude, impossible to get hold of (I had to call off different numbers and withhold caller Id just to get passed off to various random staff who passed on messages) and completely unwilling to help. She did not follow any direct requests from me, deliberately went against what I asked for. A period of 4 months went by with no progress made in terms of chasing the other solicitors for replies to enquiries and all the while with no updates unless I chased. I felt like I was doing their job for them! When I complained about this to her, she completely dismissed this. It is absolutely disgusting that they are getting paid for such shoddy work. Do yourself a favour and find another firm!!!

I used their services a number of years ago but recall it was so bad that I must forewarn. Service is appallingly bad, staff are incredibly rude, no one answers the phone and no one has the decency to call back. Pathetic service and disgusting firm. DO NOT USE!!!!

I wish there was a minus star but there isnt. 1 star is too generous for this very unprofessional company. How they can call themselves a solicitors is beyond me. No customer focus, a complete waste of time and money. I heard in the past how bad they were and I wish is listed. Would never recommend this company. So if you are buying or selling a house stay well away.

Lewis Dick almost cost me a lot of money and the loss of my new property and everyone else's in a recent chain. I understand they have a lot of work on and not enough people.Just when we thought we were about to exchange, Sam Woods went on holiday without notice to her client . More obvious questions would come over which should have been raised weeks before...there is absolutely not urgency.They do not talk to you and use email too much, my buyer finally had to go down to the office in crawley and demand to sign her papers to speed things up. All of the conveyancers would not come and talk to her, she was asked by the receptionist to write down what she wanted which was then passed across whilst she waited.Appalling!

Samantha and the team were helpful and professional. Although unable to help with our purchase with equity release they handled our house sale. This was not an easy transaction but was handled well and efficiently.

Sam Woods came highly recommended from a number of sources. When we told our agents (Astons) they were very complimentary. Sam was excellent throughout the process and helped us to complete quickly despite a difficult situation with our buyers useless online solicitor. Sam really knows her stuff and we will always use her in future.

DO NOT USE THEM! Especially not the partner Samantha. They are incapable of communicating with solicitors or agents and request unnecessary documentation to cause repeated delays. There is a whole trail of people ready to make a formal complaint for repeat delays and incompetence demonstrated by them. Previous clients have claimed compensation due to their poor service-I’m not surprised. They don’t return calls or emails and couldn’t care less that people lives are involved.They should be referred to the ombudsman to be honest-an Avenue I’m sure we will all be exploring.
