Ordered four windows and front door with matching side panels. The windows went in fine and on time. The door was delayed as expected- no issue with that but did not arrive with thumb latch as requested. I was initially told it would take a week then that turned into two, then three then so on- about 9 weeks later and much chasing the wrong one was just purchased off the shelf from Screwfix or Toolstation which could of been done the same day- it was not matching in colour or style so had to wait in total 3 months to have this resolved- ‘ supply chain issues’ we constantly being used as an excuse but when the install manager eventually looked into it they hadn’t been sent and then two arrived on his desk the same day! If they were actually looking after their customers and following things up this would have been highlighted straight away and resolved. They really are not fussed about looking after you. The fitting guys are excellent- office staff not so!Update. Back in February- after completing the renovation we realised you could see daylight through a closed window in 3 separate rooms. The response was slow and prolonged. Absolute shower of …. Of a company and not surprised they’ve gone bust. Subsequently had windows fitted half the price and double the quality from another local firm.

Very well fitted and good service. Fair price for lovely windows! Only haven’t put 5 because I had to chase a month after paying the deposit to find out expected fitting dates, other than that – perfect.

Had all of my Victorian sash windows and a front door replaced. Beautiful quality windows. The fitters were friendly and courteous and really went above and beyond to make sure the renovations were in keeping with the age of the property. Excellent service from start to finish would highly recommend.

This Company were employed to install windows and doors to our property. The windows and doors were the most appalling quality that we could imagine, they did not even pass in our opinion as third-rate due to the multiple scratches, score marks, damaged window furniture and hundreds of marks between the glass units. The survey and installation left us with an enormous gap under the patio doors and expanding builders foam and spacer bars holding the windows in.Our Building Inspector would not pass the installation as County Windows had not adhered to safety glass and minimum means of fire escape regulations.County Windows would not accept our concerns and there were no genuine attempts from them to complete the installation to a basic standard.Having been encouraged to part with over £21,000 (even though the installation was not completed) we were left with no option but to pursue this Company through the Courts to have these windows and doors removed and our funds returned. After a two-year battle, we were successful.County Windows have gone to great lengths to have my review removed, it is a great shame they didn't put the same effort into their customer service.I would not recommend this Company - we endured a double-glazing nightmarePlease see the photographs on my profile pages showing the dreadful quality and installation, gap under the patio doors, expanding foam, marks between the glass, scratches etc.Response to the new Owner: This may well be the case but you are still installing windows manufactured by the Company that made ours and they were appalling quality and finish.

After using County to install some aluminium windows to match our existing wooden frame windows, we were impressed with their attention to detail and decent price. So County were a natural choice when it came to choosing a builder for our conservatory. We had a restriction of windows in the house for the design to fit under and a 60s house which demanded more of a glass extension than an old fashioned, typical build. But the guys at County nailed the brief and gave us a stylish, modern room with plenty of light that looks completely in keeping with our house and roof-line. They also gave us good advice when it came to designing the doors - they suggested two doors at the front for the summer and one at the side for winter, which is really useful. County's team of builders, electricians and plasterers were also friendly, considerate, and professional. And a good laugh. We couldn't be happier with the final product and would recommend County to anyone.

I am delighted with the new door and the service of your company. The sales process was informative and very helpful. The survey was accurate and led to a professional installation being conducted. The admin during the process was GOOD but the communication could have been improved a little. eg You could have contacted me rather than me having to phone you to establish that delivery was delayed. Also your accounts team was chasing for payments that had already been made and communicated by me. Sorry I am nit picking but this may be useful feedback. Overall a job Very Well Done from start to finish. Stuart Kirk

Had 4 windows and a new front door fitted. Very pleased with it all. It all seems top quality and well fitted. The surveyer and the installaters were friendly, hard working and were obviously well experienced. The windows were fitted at around the expected date but the door toik a little longer due to supplier problems. I would recommend.

They just gone into administration!!! They were supposed to install our solid roof 20th June…. then the date was moved to 18th July and 3 weeks ago 11th August.Yesterday we received a call that the company have gone into administration!! Our house is being renovated and this was a key step in the renovation…. now, it’s a building site and everything that depending on that is delayed for who knows!

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the new windows (including sash windows) I recently had installed by your company. It was a big decision to have the Victorian windows replaced but the design and quality of the new ones are fantastic. The staff at County Windows are brilliant to deal with - no hard sell and will give advice and answer any questions in a helpful and courteous manner. This was the second time that I had bought products from County Windows. Three years ago I had two external doors installed. On both occasions the workman were polite, professional with minimal disturbance and my home was left spotless. I have no hesitation in recommending this local company to anyone considering having replacement doors and windows.

Unfortunately you can't provide zero stars! County Windows seemed to have died & doing so, they have left loads of customers and trades people in the lurch & out of pocket. I heard on the 29th July 2022 they went in liquidation. They were supposed to return to site to complete our orangery, but that won't now happen. What is slightly odd is when we placed the order in September last year we were provided with a 120 day insurance policy, just in case something like this happened. That was through DGCOS Ombudsman Scheme. Trouble is County didn't start the project until the 5th April 2022 so the insurance was totally useless & whilst they claim the project was complete, there were missing parts & the orangery is not water tight. From what I can see, no one seems to know what is going on, we will have no warranties on anything. God knows what has gone on, its far too easy to blame covid, but there seems to be a far deeper rooted issues than that....
