I've had several orders from price and fretwell and I've been happy with every order. I bought some steak for My grandson ( he only ever eats chicken and burgers) but he tried the steak and enjoyed it . That on my next order I have to order more lol. All the meats are excellent quality and taste amazing. The home made pies and sausages rolls are to die for . Telephone staff are very polite and friendly and help with any questions I have( usually prices) and delivery man is also polite and friendly .I find some of the hampers a little on the dear side. But I buy things separate. So dont but hampers as I have fussy eaters.excellent firm 5 stars

We came across Price & Fretwell on Facebook during the lockdown, while looking for a local butcher due to my partner shielding. The ladies on the phone are incredibly helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Lynsey and Sophie have both helped me out when it comes to recommendations and explaining cuts of meat (having previously never brought from a butcher's, I had no idea when it came to differences and sizing). The next day delivery is great and the gentleman who delivers is lovely and always cheers me up during these miserable lockdown times. The collection option is also ideal for smaller orders, with them bringing your order to your car so you can remain safe inside. Thequality of the food is equally as good as the customer service. Everything we have tried has been great, much more flavour than supermarket food and I'm always amazed with the price paid for such quality goods. We're big fans of the festival sausages, the deep filled sausage rolls and the southern fried chicken (they make the best burgers!), But we can honestly say we've enjoyed everything we've tried. We're now weekly customers, I always look forward to placing my order with the lovely team and I can't wait to try new items as they're added to the ever growing product list. I fully recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This company have been an absolute lifeline to me during lockdown. Next day delivery of great quality meat! I will never go back to supermarket meat. Everything is so fresh and tasty. Try the award winning festival sausages, yummy! Made pulled pork with their pork shoulder yesterday and it was delicious again. Never fails to pull, whereas supermarket pork shoulder is 50/50. The ladies on the phone and man who delivers are always so friendly, even when he had to wait for me because I was out for a run with the dogs!

Both deliveries (private individual, not business) have been excellent. The quality is second to none and it is excellent value for money - I especially love the NHS Hamper! The Barnsley chops might just be my favourite, so much delicious flavour, but honestly, it all tastes amazing. I need to add a note about both the delivery man who dropped my order off yesterday - such a lovely gentleman - and the ladies in the office...every single one I have spoken to is so helpful, super friendly and it really sounds that they enjoy working for F&P! My husband and I have been munching away on pork pie this evening...we bought it for a picnic tomorrow but I'm not sure it will last that long!

Have ordered hampers twice plus a few extra bits, meat we have had has been great quality cant fault it in anyway. Customer service is amazing. The people taking the orders, payment and delivering are always super nice and polite. 100% would recommend to everybody

The service from start to finish is exceptional and the meat is very fresh, and wrapped in minimal packaging, so I can easily fit everything in my small freezer. I started using this company at the beginning of lockdown and it made my life so much easier knowing I only had to give them a ring and I would get my order the day after. Staying open all the way through lockdown Is amazing, thankyou to everyone at price and fretwell for being there for us

We have used Price and Fretwell since the beginning of Lockdown. The quality of the meat is outstanding. We don't buy supermarket meat anymore. All the staff, whether you speak to them over the phone or chat to the person delivering are lovely. Fantastic business.

Poor quality meat with very little shelf life, over priced and customer service is one of those you call “over promise and under deliver”….
