Went last night as a big group and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they are all super friendly, “Shannon molly and Simon” they’re also very accommodating. The pub has just had a very good refurb done. It looks lovely in there now. The food was lovely , and very good portion sizes and piping hot, will definitely be visiting again in the not so distance future

Just reopened after refurbishment so was lovely and clean inside. Good range of veggie options. Husband had sirloin steak but unfortunately it was a bad cut and he was unable to eat it. Staff promptly sorted it and brought a fresh sirloin steak to which husband said it was the nicest steak he's had for a while.Will definitely go back.

Went here with a booking of 19, staff had no problems serving all the food to everyone at the same time.Staff were friendly.Had 3 course for under £30, bargain!Thank you to all the staff.Had a lovely night. ❤️

Lovely food, fresh and hot….cooked to perfection. Great service, lovely pub, brilliant staff and atmosphere. Lovely meal and drinks out… brilliant little gem of a pub.

A very nice welcome as we had booked previously. Escorted to our table & enquired to our needs immediately & politely. Drinks purchased & we selected our evening meals. Medium grilled Rump steaks were delicious, as was the entire meal. Condiments & sauces were tendered. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal & will come yet again. Thank you.

Good customer service food excellent and all came out together. Only reason for a lower star is we wasn't asked if we had any allergies and we do have a nut allergy within our family. We didn't mention it as we know what he can eat but other Marston pubs always ask and make sure my son is catered for.

I booked my family and friends in at the crown for a Xmas party meal. The food was great, staff were really good friendly and made sure everything went to plan. Shannon, molly and Simon were amazing got all out good out for 19 people without any delays. We were given time to chat and eat our food without being rushed out of the restaurant. The chef and kitchen staff were great and the food was cooked to a good high standard.Thank you all for accommodating us all, and treating us well.
