After purchasing a Ford Ka last November we’ve had nothing but problems and issues with the engine. We’ve had a mechanic look at the car and he has told us that there are numerous issues with the engine and parts that have been tampered with.Problems so far: radiator leaked, head gasket blown, exhaust held on by zipties,, parts tampered with and bolts replaced, significant issues in the engine bay.THOUSANDS IN REPAIRS. steer clear.

Abysmal dangerous dealer, sold a van that tracking was dangerously out, clutch went after a few days and isnt covered by warranty apparently, turbo going, speed limiter installed and I wasnt informed before buying, large hole in the roof allowing water in, engine smoking a week later, local garages refusing to touch it. Hasnt attempted at all to fix the issue. DO NOT BUY

I was caught short by a 'major car dysfunction' and needed a replacement - fast. Recommend 100%. I bought a car from him a few months ago, the process was super easy and Matt was very helpful. When I had an issue recently with my indicator and called him for a garage recommendation, and instead he asked me to bring the car back to his place and got his mechanic to fix it (without me paying anything). Very trustworthy, look no further.

Cant recommend enough! The whole process was incredibly easy. Mark was very honest and helped me to chose the car that was right for me rather than pushing for the most expensive as other garages might. I would also recommend to anyone else who doesn’t have a clue when it comes to cars, rather than being taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge, it was kindly explained to me all the differences in the cars I was looking at which was a big help :) Thankyou!!

We bought a Ford Ka for £3,250 from Saxbys in November of last year and have had nothing but problems. We have subsequently had a mechanic look at the issues with the engine which he says are significant with parts having been tampered with. Knocking noises from the engine compartment. Bolts in places bolts shouldn’t be. Head gasket blown. Leak from the radiator. Zip ties holding on the exhaust. This has cost us £ thousands to rectify and we’re still not running smooth. Unfortunately these problems occurred just after the three month warranty but we would expect a car from a garage to last longer than a year. I know they say it’s buyer beware but having looked through the reviews we thought this was a respectable garage.

Positive experience with this firm. Very friendly and efficient.They say the true pedigree of a Company is not measured when they get it right but how they deal with it when something goes wrong! Well 5 stars all the way to M J Saxby. There was an issue with the car after I purchased it and they had it back without any fuss at all and put the matter right, lending me a courtesy car whilst they did it. Well done, this gives me the confidence to use them again in the future and to recommend them to others.

Picked up my Fiesta today and my brother also purchased a Fiesta from Matt and his hard working father ! at the same time. Totally transparent on any issues and anything that needed replacement before collection ( and after ) was done! Super impressed- Thanks gentleman. Much appreciated.
