Went for a family meal and everybody really enjoyed everything we ordered. Very tasty food. Staff made us feel very welcome and service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again.

This is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. It took 15 mins before anybody realised we were there. Then after the worst pickle tray I have ever had the waitress forgot about our table. 45 mins later my wife had to go to the bar to ask for some drinks and then another 20 minutes later had to ask for her to come and take our order. 30 mins later our starters arrived which at this point the waitresses only had 2 more tables to cover. Then the owner/manager came out of the kitchen to ask who had ordered the chicken korma. Nobody in the restaurant had ordered one. I started to complain to him about the service, at which point instead of apologising he asked me and my wife to leave!

Had a family night out (10 people ) Very nice surroundings , service was good ,just not enough , a couple said it wasn't very tasty but the rest enjoyed it.I could have eaten just as much again but still enjoyed the evening so only 3 stars.

The last time I entered these premises it was a public house. The landlord I used to go to school with was called skaiffe. Since then It's gone through a huge transformation. But that was over 30yrs ago. Now it's a very nicely appointed Indian restaurant. We tried this out with a groupon discount offer costing £19.95. And that was an absolute bargain. For that you get 1 popadom starters with a plate of pickles and sauces like I have never seen before. They were great. I had lamb on a sizzle platter and my partner had onion barjee for starters . Then I had a mixed grill with vegetable sauce. My other half had chicken tikka masala. This was the worst meal having very little chicken in the masala. With 2 nans the meal was very filling. We could have had rice but prefer nan. This was topped off with a complementary pint of lager, and a diet Coke. Overall the meal was very nice and certainly very good value with the groupon voucher. Try it well worth the visit.

Don't order from here !After ordering at 6.30pm & ringing 3 times (& being lied to) - our meal turned up 1 hr 40 minutes later ! It was cold & wrong. We will not be ordering from here again. Has it changed hands as previously we ordered every week spending £25+ & it was beautiful food, nice people & on time for deliveries ? Business is obviously that good for them that they can turn down £100+ per month of business. Our neighbours have also stopped using them as they have had bad food & rubbish service !

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered through Just Eat.Excellent food, even as a vegetarian (it can be tricky), I had the Okra Bhaji as a main, and it was beautiful. It all arrived hot, tasted very fresh, and alongside 2 further mains with rice and sides, and starters, it was very good value for restaurant quality food. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Bought this meal as a group on gift. The welcome was very friendly. The two girls serving were smashing really friendly too. The pickle tray was amazing 10 to choose from. Starters were very very nice and the main course was excellent too. Will be back. Just a point there is no alcohol served.

We visited this restaurant after we noticed it had changed hands and was now not serving alcohol (don't worry you can bring your own) Really good food at reasonable prices. We visited on a Sunday night , and whilst it was fairly quiet there we two people serving so we were not kept waiting too long for a seat or to order our food . The pickle tray has to get a mention, you may get two to three pickles in some restaurant but here you get 9 pickles , all delicious !! It won't be long before we are back

Just had a delivery 30 minutes late. Wife's curry far to spicy and simming in oil only 4 bits of chicken.. every Sheesh kebab I've ever had before has been the same these were nothing like a Sheesh kebab and like rubber. Pilau rice was more like boild rice... seriously disappointed after all the good reviews I had read aswell. Will definitely not be ordering again.

Have ordered for the past 5 years here and it has been great. I don't know what happened with the last order, but it was just swimming in oil, and all the metal containers were half full!! One hardly had any chicken as well! Disappointed....
