Highly recommended!Project:- to renovate an existing, substantial single story, but dated and tired house, that required significant modernisation and aesthetic improvement along with the creation of additional spacious accommodation on the existing footprint.Chris Andrews was contracted to provide all architectural services for the project. From the survey of the existing property, the complete redesign, detail and building specs required for the renovation and to liaise with the local planning and building control authorities. Chris also provided excellent advice and guidance during the selection of contractors and other professional services. All of Chris’s services were carried out professionally, expeditiously, meticulously and successfully.Chris created a first-class design package which was innovative, very detailed and technically compliant with respect to all building regulations. The design and detail drawings were of the highest quality and the material specification schedule was comprehensive, detailed and precise. Due diligence was exercised throughout the process taking cognisance of economic, ergonomic and environment considerations.Result:- a stunning conversion that meets all of the requirements of the project and is totally regulation compliant. Large, open and spacious rooms; additional and modern utilities, greatly improved energy efficiency and an excellent finish both internally and externally.As an additional endorsement for Chris’s work; all of the three main contractors who were shortlisted for final quotations for the above job stated that the quality and detail of work produced by Chris was the best they had seen and that each contractor would be considering using Chris for their future projects.

Chris was excellent from start to finish. Great communication and the whole process from the initial measurements to the approval of the building warrant was seamless. He provided various options for my extension layout and was happy to change this based on my preference.Chris has been very helpful with additional queries that i have had during the building stage, which just shows how professional he is, even after his work has been done.
