Based on Sunday lunch - Fantastic Sunday lunch. Generous portion with plenty of side options. Good quality and cooked very well, the price was also more than reasonable. Would definitely come back!

I can't recommend the county Hotel and a meal in the Hudson highly enough,We did the Stay wine and Dine deal and will definitely be doing it again.

A lovely spur of the moment dining experience, with our daughter, who started Uni a month before. Staff were lovely, and the food was exceptional. We all had the Sunday lunch, and we all felt like we had been fed very well.

Many choices on the drinks menu. Decent mocktail options for teetotallers like us. Music was way too loud in my opinion which doesn’t match the non-clubbing vibe of this place. Literally just opposite Central Station.

I'm not one who usually leaves written reviews but this time I've had to. Had a terrible experience here. Arrived on time for our table and had to wait 10 minutes. Drinks orders didn't arrive for 30 minutes with the wrong drinks. Food arrived over an hour after the order was placed and all 6 people at my table found it to be poor quality. One of us found a large hair in our food, to which they replaced the dish but she waited another 15 minutes for the replacement. The waitresses were all trying their best but understaffing was definitely apparent. All of this came with a hefty price tag! We went in with the intention of having a three course meal and cocktails but given the quality and service we opted to get out as soon as we could. My advice to anyone wanting to eat here; Don't.

This was a lovely bar to visit, set in a glorious ancient building near Newcastle train station! The design has brilliant vibes with its brightness, counter is well-presented and the staff were chill. I enjoyed a pint of Heineken, sitting comfortably in the outside area with fabulous views!

Popped in hoping for a cooked breakfast - was not disappointed! Good brunch menu, wide selection, and decently priced. Big portions - veggie breakfast and breakfast tacos were lovely. £26 for 2 breakfasts, a smoothie and cappuccino!

Very disappointed. We were in the restaurant for the best part of two hours, and in that time we had a few soft drinks and two starters. We ended up walking out because the service was so slow. The chicken Mac and cheese was unavailable on the kids menu, the chef was VERY loud and vocal (rude) about this to the poor wait staff. Ordered kids burger sliders instead, they were so over cooked my child was unable to eat them because of how solid they were. The nachos starter was cold and disappointing. We left 40 minutes after the starters , we just couldn’t wait any longer. £36 and two hours down out of my day. At the time of our visit, there was about four or five tables in the restaurant, so hardly at capacity/busy. Extremely disappointing visit.

Terrible food, they over charged us for things we did not order and you have to pay the mandatory 10% tip. Definitely lack of service both in the kitchen (We waited almost 3 hours to get the main) and not many waiters neither (I had to go and get the water myself three times). Not recommended if you are looking for a place with good food. Drinks are nice though.
