The Activity Centre does great work with the young people. It is a shame the management has authorised private camera surveillance from the narrow boat moorings. This camera has a follow me mode! I am not sure what happens to the video images, but private filming in public area with children and young people must be wrong.When I drove my boat past the camera it was filming me all the time, it is very creepy! It has been reported to the centre manager but no action has been taken for two years.

My 2 boys had 4hrs there as part of an At Youth Sandwell activity....did canoeing, rock climbing and abseiling absolutely loved it. Booked again for next week too!

Malthouse Stables Activity Centre
They might be doing great youth work at the centre. But I have witnessed also discriminating behaviour by the staff and racist behaviour by some of the resident boaters. Together with a camera following people on boats passing by I find that not acceptable.
