Loved this place. I especially liked the Gymnasium and Canteen. On a serious note though, it's full of coppers. Be well behaved when visiting.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary has improved services exceptionally. Front-line officers provide outstanding 'intervention'. Intelligence is pro-actively changing the safety of law abiding citizens and SAFE-GUARDING is enshrined in appropriate delivery of service.Historically the Constabulary has shed high ranking personnel some of whom evaded 'scrutiny' by becoming 'consultants' and chairing scrutiny committees and advising 'Bright' 'white' and functionally not able to behave with integrity Commissioners. Old boy networks should be defunct in Society. Cambridgeshire Constabulary should hold Commissioners and advisers to account.Effectively the system does not allow for scrutiny of Police Commissioning. Possibly Priti Patel is too busy looking in the mirror!?Cambridgeshire Constabulary now works within a frame-work of clear guidelines that ensures corruption and abuse of power is at best transparently investigated. Not following protocol and denying whistle-blowers opportunity to expose abuse of power is the last bastion. One hampered by positions in society conferred to those who avoid scrutiny themselves.Thankfully following the Birchard Report prompted by the Soham murders and changed complement of staffing ie. Chief Constable - Constabulary has overhauled a service that was much lacking and revealed many discrepancies involving lack of appropriate sharing of sensitive intelligence and lack-lustre investigational operational practice.The Constabulary now has a complement of women and staffing that reflects the diverse community it serves and is less impacted by the 'old boy' network. Eradicating cronyism is the future of policing and embedding relevant strategical theoretical practice.Broken Window Policing requires neighbourhood policing - not assertion that it is an effective modus operandi with no evidence of outcome.Without prejudice.

Not only was i allowed to walk around the area collecting the photos listed, almost everyone said hello or morning and the helpful lady who took me through to the traffic department introduced me to the SGT who took me inside the lockup so i could photograph all the bikes etc in there, no what is all your details" daftness just pure common sense and friendliness much missing from many police nowadays."

I have been law abideing all my life im ex soldier with exemplary character,now disabled, I have sought police assistance twice and both times they where arogant unhelpful rude unable to or uninterested in my concerns at that time ,ive even been made to be the agresor by an incompetent sargeant when i was obviously the victim,how can they get the situation so wrong,i think its often because they are not interested,i and others i know just do not bother toseek there assistance should a problem occur.
