Me and my daughter train with Master Lee. I am so happy to find him as he is so calm and friendly. He knows the art and the knowledge he have of JKD, Muay Thai and MMA is so amazing.

If you are considering a martial arts school, I couldnt recomend ice black belt schools enough! I joined a childrens class and after growing up with the confidence to - and the ability to defend myself I now (closing in on 30) recommend any young person to train in martial arts.As well as teaching skills and techniques to defend, it also taught me personal values which have stayed with me for life. You and your body can accomplish amazing things when you train it to!

Ive known Lee for 20 years. His level of professionalism and passion is second to none ! Always happy to help people, from the professional athlete to the absolute beginner, completely reccomend!!

Like many other people reviewing ICE Black Belt Schools - I could tell you how good Lee is, how devoted he is to this art form (literally a lifetime of learning) and I could without hesitation give a 5 star review describing his gentle yet encouraging style, his humour and his professionalism. I could tell you all that and it would all be 100% accurate - if you're joining to learn martial arts, I am confident you would not find a better and more generous teacher anywhere else in the UK.But what I'd like to really highlight in this review is how much more you'll take away from your experience, especially if - like I was - you are in that stage of your life where you are needing a new challenge and focus.I first met Lee back in 1996 when I was a rather disruptive, but actually a pretty shy 18 year old. Having gotten into a few fights at school - mostly ones that ended with me coming home with torn uniforms and a mouth full of the school sandpit - I signed up for classes purely to learn how to properly defend myself.I found myself immersed into this weird and wonderful new world of martial arts - everything from boxing, muay thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Filipino stick and knife and of course Jeet Kune Do. Within months I noticed my fitness had rapidly increased, my ability to concentrate outside of training had improved and my attitude towards overcoming personal challenges was just a matter of keeping focus.Having started this journey some 24 years ago, I regrettably had to stop training so hard - partly due to a skiing injury, but mostly due to geography having moved away from Kent. Those skills however have helped me immensely in my future career choices. On the face of it, practising martial arts in a gym with Lee in 1996-2010 and working as a commercial pilot seem to have very little in common, but you'd be wrong:Because, if you can focus on a 20+ combination of strikes and defences in your stick fighting, or strategically escape from an opponent's hold on the ground in jiu-jitsu, then the ability to slow yourself down and focus your mind in order to run through critical actions in the event of an engine failure at 1500ft, at night, in poor weather and icing, will seem a doddle.Outside of my parents and family members, perhaps a handful of teachers at school and really excellent managers at work, Lee is one of the people whom I would consider not just a friend, but a mentor and a significant guiding force in my young life and beyond.

Having visited many UK fighting/fitness centres, I can say, unequivocally, that my ICE experience was the best, and the most inspiring. Whereas I'd been forced to hop from place to place in order to learn various styles, Lee's incredible knowledge of Thai, Phillipino and Brazillian methodologies, and others, remains second to none. With ICE, they see no differential in age, in background, in experience or gender. All are welcome and treated accordingly in a manner not to confuse or patronise. I'd never been taught before by a bona fide former World Champion, so the difference was immediately obvious, striking and informative. In a world sadly full of negatives, I would 100% recommend this incredible positive experience. The general message seemed to be; Get fit, get educated and make friends.

I first trained with Master Lee 20 years ago, but regrettably had to leave for personal reasons. I tried several times since to find a martial art and school that suited my needs, but after trying kick-boxing, Wing Chun and a couple of other disciplines, nothing quite hit the mark. I accidentally met Master Lee again recently at an anti- knife seminar in Bromley, re-joined his class in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge and haven't looked back.If you're after a martial art that teaches self-defence at any range, from kicking, to boxing, to trapping and grappling, then this is the one.Bruce Lee designed this art using the best elements from many different styles, and Master Lee teaches it better than anyone.If you want to get fit, learn self-defence, discipline and self-confidence, in a friendly, no-pressure environment, then look no further!Master Lee caters for all standards, so don't worry if you're just starting or if you're already experienced in another art, you will be welcome whatever.Master Lee is both my instructor and my friend, and i can't recommend him or ICE Black Belt martial arts enough.

AMAZING! The best martial arts school around great for learning all aspects of martial arts for everyone male or female! Best instructor for Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do in the country! Would recommend to everyone!

There is a great quote by the Dalai Lama “ The stronger you become the gentler you will be.” This is certainly the case with our son. Master Lee’s teachings have been an inspiration to him. In training he is growing in skill, focus and discipline, session by session. As a person he grows in character, showing respect, courage and humility but above all he absolutely loves it! Thank you Master Lee.
