Sufiyan is an amazing host! The food was delicious. Sufiyan knows how to treat the guests right, and always provided service with a smile. Kudos to him.We always go for Pakistani/Afghani food in Watan and the legend lived upto its expectations. The chicken biriyani was quite full of chicken pieces. The karahi chicken portion was more than satisfactory. And it was well cooked, and smoking-hot-delicious. There was a flavor of charcoal in it which made it quite an excellent dish.The place was a bit smokey considering it was a hot day. But the service again was top notch. We had a kulfi as dessert, which was great since we don't like too sweet dessert. The decor was nothing over the top, but still quite fancy. Highly recommended

Lovely place. The decor is classy and the food is fantastic. It’s a great place to go for a special occasion or if you have a large number of people dining. The dishes are a very good price and portion size and taste amazing. We particularly love the special afghan mixed grill.The service is perfect every time despite the restaurant being busy. I don’t have a bad word to say !

We randomly chose this restaurant for a late lunch and were all very pleasantly surprised. All the dishes were flavourful and deliciously spicy. We asked our server for a recommendation for a vegetable dish and were super satisfied with the choice.Service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is open throughout the day.

I really liked the design of this restaurant, it has very forest type of atmosphere. The ladies were very friendly, however one of the guys needs to work on his customer service as he had a silent, careless, blank service. Bare in mind, they do charge a service fee here and put a bottle of water by default for you. Overall it was a decent experience.

What a great experience! Delicious authentic food, lovely atmosphere. Its a beautiful restaurant and the food was amazing. I had the chicken dum biryani with raita and dood pati tea. The biryani was spicy, flavourful and I could not stop eating it. So very happy with the food and service. The server Shoaib was attentive and professional. I would definitely travel back to London for this food. Thank you!!!!

Watson Restaurant in Tooting is a blast! The food is fresh, delicious, and bursting with flavors. The service is good, though not flawless. Tip: wear washable clothes as the curry aroma can stick!

Watan Restaurant Tooting
Tooting just keeps getting better doesn’t it? Watan is a fantastic addition and it’s great to see Afghan cuisine join the party. The restaurant itself is cavernous, it’s trendy, the staff are courteous and the food does Afghanistan proud. The grilled meats (with accompanying sauces) were a delight. Recommended.
