DONT USE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF ON PRICE AND YOU WILL PAY FROM WHEN THEY LEAVE WHEREVER THEY ARE. TRIED CHARGING ME £55 FOR A 10 MINUYE JOURNEY. ABSOUTLE JOKE AND WASTE OF SPACE.

On two occasions that I've used or witnessed R&D Taxis I've been utterly disgusted.Firstly, a 6 mile journey from a pub to home was nothing short of seriously dangerous driving. The driver was travelling far too fast along dangerous country lanes in the dark. Along with three other passengers, I felt very uneasy and scared by such dangerous driving.What prompted me to make this negative review was that today I was almost in an accident caused by the very same driver of R&D Taxis. I was travelling at less that 15mph around a bend near home on a single width lane.This same taxi (and driver) appeared from nowhere heading towards me at a speed that must have been 45-50mph. I was able to stop and move sideways in an instant. The taxi driver hit the brakes and SKIDDED towards both my vehicle and the hedge on his side of the road. He eventually came to a stop so close to hitting my stationary vehicle that I had already braced myself for a collision.Miraculously, his simply idiotic driving didn't cause an accident on this occasion. Driving at such a speed around such a dangerous bend on a single width country lane shows no respect for his own safety, let alone the safety of other road users.I certainly will never use R&D Taxis again and I'm absolutely appalled at both of my experiences of them. I never take the time to write reviews, especially negative ones, but today's incident angered me so much that I felt it was necessary to do so.

Only taxi driver I’ll use moving forwards - exceptional service, waiting for my mum’s transfer twice and kept in contact throughout. A faultless service, 100% recommend. Prompt pick up and professional.
