Somewhat inexplicably underused public bar as it provides good service with great deals on match days and a variety of sports available on three tvs. Comfortable and spacious leather seating with great decor. Well stocked off licence with unlimited choice of fine wines and beers/ciders

Fairley's is a cheerful looking traditional Northern Irish pub nearly opposite the Railway Station in Coleraine. I went in on a Tuesday evening at the start of the October - and was confused to walk into a wine shop. The front part of the premises is a branch of the Fairley's Wines, wine merchant. An off licence - that specialises in wine and speciality whiskeys, and Gins, many of them Irish. They also sell a range of bottled craft beer. There are many off licences, wine shops, convenience stores and supermarkets where you can buy nice stuff in 'the Triangle' of Coleraine, Portstewart and Portrush and still I think you will find stopping here worth it if looking for something special. I was going to the pub as it is the only one I had seen recommended in a CAMRA guide for local beer. It sells the beers, on draught from the Portrush Lacada Brewery Cooperative. (Also a range available in bottles in the shop). Regular customers had been in in the afternoon. I was the only customer for quite a while but had an excellent host in Claire, managing the bar and shop, who was very knowledgable about the stock that Fairley's has. She gave me many good tips on nice places in the area for food and drink, including further afield to Limavady and Derry. The Lacada beer on draught was very expensive (£5 a pint plus), strong (the one I had, East the Beast) but very good. Lacada produce the modern fashionable American / Australian style craft beers that are strong, pale or extremely flavoured that I don't like because I like traditional British ale (& Irish stout) but they do a range & you'll likely find one you do like. Regular products like Guinness and Hever Tree are more regular prices. Other customers came in. One thing I have never liked about Irish pubs is that you can't see inside and I don't like going into a place if I can't see what it looks like. This pub looks friendly on the outside. Do walk in. It is a friendly little pub as it looks from the outside, with a couple of quiet seating areas and a pool table as well.

Extensive range of local craft beers plus a Growler Depot. The Growler has a rotating selection of craft beers on draught. Purchase by the bottle fill it then bring it back to refill. There is an app available which explains what beers are available and when new ones come on line. Also has an excellent wine selection.

Very quiet bar. Good stop for pre-drinks and there's a pool table in the facility. Prices are decent enough and a good selection of beers , ciders etc.

Called in to find out about rum , I’m not an expert though I’ve set up many rums over a bar counter. I was told to ask for Mark , hoping his expertise could guide to the right one or should I say the right rum ? .. many of the old brands have gone now McAllisters and others but after a chat he recommended Copeland Rum , a local company. All I can say is he truly is an expert a beautiful warming rum , leaving a creamy buttery note on the pallet , well it did mine and we are all very different and individually created may I suggest you call in and try it for yourself. I don’t think you will be disappointed, great selection of drinks in store to ponder over and friendly advice from the staff. Thank you

If you are visiting the area, go to Fairleys. If you like loads of various wines from anywhere, go to Fairleys. If you're looking for some bizarre obscure whiskey or spirit, go to Fairleys.Craft beer, Fairleys.Just a drink in nice surroundings with a bit of craic where nobody gives you a strange look as you enter, go to Fairleys.

Fastest ever delivery. Ordered on line from Chester, a bottle of Belfast 1912 Gin which was delivered to my brother-in-law in Portrush, two hours later.
