Fine and Country provided a very professional service in selling our property during these current crazy times - although two prospective purchasers dropped out because the chain broke lower down F&C staff quickly re-listed and another buyer was promptly found. As local property developers we always use F&C (King's Lynn and Fakenham offices) as our first choice estate agent due to their commitment and great service.

We bought a house through Lili last year and it was a fantastic experience. She is responsive, efficient and excellent at communicating with all parties. Lili really helped us resolve issues and kept us fully informed throughout. We particularly appreciated her straightforward, direct approach and can highly recommend her.

Lili, the manager at King's Lynn was excellent at keeping us informed and updated over the sale of our property at a time when it was not easy to sell. She personally conducted viewings and once we had an offer she was helpful in contacting the solicitors and our buyers when necessary. We would highly recommend this office.

It started with a high quality brochure and online advert that drew out and “sold” the property’s best features, continued with an informative and promptly arranged viewing, progressing rapidly to an efficient contract exchange at a sensible price, and finally a seamless completion, both sides of the whole process actively supervised by Lili throughout. Estate agent was nice enough, but the seller hid things from the beginning. Like his house (Tall Pines, Welney) was underpinned.Then tried to charge us for all the beige grotty carpets for 2.5K...he said he will rip all the carpets from bedrooms. Also another 2.5K for all the light fittingsWe the naive buyers, with our kids...started panicking regarding carpets. Of course we argued for nearly 500K , you will be ripping out all carpets?!!! Seriously...I understand this is Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border....houses are expensive. But ripping out those carpets (however beige grotty they are) is taking the next level!This negotiation on fixtures and fittings took nearly 2 months!Ok 3rd month....we pressed the mortgage button....survey come back...with movement of house etc...When we pressed the seller regarding the matter....he said nonchalantly 'oh yeah house got underpinned ' 30 years ago...this shouldn't concern you....!ehh by the way....news flash ' its for the buyers to decide that'!!!!We spent more money on survey. Also we found out....neighbours are a nightmare with serving notice on seller regarding cutting hedges etc..We the naive buyers still persisted...as it was our dream house! By the way...now it's month 4 and 5Somehow we got the mortgage offer. Our buyers were putting pressure on us. But it's been nearly 5 months! So I don't blame them for putting pressure, as they had to move out of their rental property.Now, we somehow got to the exchange part...we are asking the seller....can we exchange please?!!!!Seller brought in excuses how he needs to find a moving out company etc....it's really hard blah blahBy this point, we had a feeling....he was never going to move out! Still the naivety told us....maybe there is a chance!!! Yeah right, no chance in hell more like!Somehow we pinned the date for exchange....Guess what( read below for shocking surprise)Seller pulled out!!!!! After 6 months!!!! We wasted our money and time on this seller, who never wanted to selll!Beware of this Seller! By the way...he has tried selling in the past, should have alarm bells ringing for us.....but we the naive buyers finally learnt our lesson!!!!!Don't buy from this seller, unless you want your money and life slipping away right in front of you!

Moving is more stressful than I could have imagined. All you want are real people that do what they say they are going to do. I was purchasing a property from F&C and I thought they were really good. Skie was a pleasure to deal with. She was professional and felt like a real person. She was responsive and delivered. On that basis I would absolutely recommend F&C.
