Sixteen of us stayed in the house and pods at Wakelyns for a work retreat over three days. It was such a pleasure and brilliant place for our away days. There are two large workshop spaces and places for relaxing too, including a lovely kitchen and living room of the house and a covered outside fire pit area with a set up for music and dancing without disturbing sleepers. Wakelyns Bakery did amazing catering and David was very accommodating and quick to respond to all my queries and sent excellent briefing packs with everything we needed to know. The biodiversity is lush too and the four pairs of turtle doves cooing was beautiful.

Just attended the Wakelyns Spoonstock event.What an amazing place and event.Lovely, interesting, kind people living in a sustainable way, and so hospitable. Really amazing home cooked organic home grown and local food, beautiful wildlife and setting. The woodturning and pottery was so mindful and fun. Really interesting guided walk and great evenings around a fire pit. Feeling very recharged - would thoroughly recommend
