Home | Founded in 1928, The Berkshire Golf Club is home to two Herbert Fowler designed courses, both of which are widely regarded as amongst the best in the British Isles. The Berkshire is a traditional Members’ Club which warmly welcomes visiting golfers all year round to enjoy the beauty of its pine and heather lined courses, and to face the subtle challenges of Fowler’s superb traditional design

My second visit to the Berkshire but only the first time playing the Blue course and wow! I think I might actually prefer it to the red which I know is controversial. Both are exceptional. The condition was amazing and every which way you look is just beautiful tree lined golf course. Can’t rate this course enough, it’s simply a must play.

What a fabulous golf club. Great clubhouse and warm welcome from staff stuffy rules have been relaxed after COVID and it’s much better for that.Lunch in the main restaurant is worth every penny of the green fee on its own. A choice of three meats and all the vegetables you can imagine and they are very flexible for us vegetarians.The two golf courses are two of the best in the land and with the sun shining the day was perfect even if the golf wasn’t up to much. If you get the chance play this course it never disappoints

Tough courses for me and long as well. The greens were in excellent shape and the carry can be a problem if you are not long or accurate off the tee and get into the Heather. Good luck!!

I cannot recommend enough, what a fantastic venue. We were looked after by very attentive staff from when we first arrived to leaving later in the day.The course we played (Blue) is a must for any serious golfer. Remember to check the visitors information section on the website, very helpful. Buffet luncheon very well presented and appreciated.
