Excell Timber Windows

We'd waited sometime before replacing our windows but I couldn't have wished for a better experience! Martin, Sam and Jake were great from start to finish. The GB product speaks for its self, quality throughout and the service is exemplary. Nothing left to chance, all approved and discussed before the fitting takes place. Delivery on time and the guy's worked really hard to meet their own deadline and exceeded our expectations in the meantime. What more could you ask for? This has been a tonic for the house, for us and a catalyst for some long needed redecoration and improvement. Thanks all.

We ordered seven replacement windows for our Grade II listed House. Sam and the team have been fantastic from the start of the process to delivery. I can't recommend them enough. Our house had been empty for three years prior to our purchase and Sam even advised us on self build VAT schemes. The team helped us with Listed Building consent questions and advice. We experienced a lot of back and fourth with our conservation officer and Excell were incredibly helpful and patient. They went above and beyond. We will definitely be buying the back windows from Excell when the time comes!

The team at Excell are amazing to deal with. They're friendly, experienced and clearly dedicated to quality above all else. From the moment you first meet Sam and Martin, you know they are absolutely committed to the end result being perfect. Refitting my house with beautiful timber double glazed windows was a big decision, but the results are stunning and now it's complete, to me it's like the whole house feels new. I'm certain the energy savings will be fantastic in the winter, and yet the house looks just as charming and traditional as it always did. The fit and finish is second to none, and Jake's skill and focus on details with lime mortar is the best I have ever seen (which was vital for my old house). If you're making a big investment in your home and you're looking for the best supplier in Suffolk, I'm quite certain Excell are number one. Go for it!

Would be zero if I could - a great product made by George Barnsdale represented by their partner who could not be more unreliable and disappointing. Having been massively confident in their abilities and agreed to proceed with the order, attention to detail on the quote was lacking and the price went up twice in the process. They then cancelled the order. Proceed with caution.** To further clarify the response provided - the quote was not confusing, it was simply incorrect and not quality checked as anyone would expect prior to final approval. Windows/doors in three different colour finishes, and a trim finish that was simply wrong - pointed out for correction but shouldn't have had to. This was simply sloppy. Secondly, it was agreed that the lintel needed to be installed - unclear as to why this point is being raised, as the first price increase was accepted and agreed. To reiterate, proceed with caution.

I had my windows and doors installed by Sam & Jake in May and I couldn't be happier with the product and whole process. As somebody who has never even considered buying windows before I was a bit daunted at the prospect but was made to feel completely comfortable. I was given all the relevant information in a way that was easy to process and supported throughout. I was kept up to date at each different stage and even managed to get an earlier fitting date due to a gap in the diary. Sam & Martin were diligent in making sure we went through the fine details multiple times to ensure we were all on the exact same page. The windows and doors have totally transformed my home. I felt compelled to write a review for Excell Timber Windows because they did such a marvellous job and we were so impressed by the quality of materials and the craftmanship of the Team. These window replacements were for our main offices including our Board Room so it was important for us that they really looked good and the standard of quality was high - we were not disappointed. Martin and Sam made extra efforts to ensure everything was perfect right from the outset of surveying, quoting, and installation, including making good. They worked diligently, efficiently and professionally. They are highly recommended and I will certainly be using them again in the future.
